Right now I'm watching my beloved buccos lose 18-0 to the Brewers (hold on a sec, there's another hit, got a shot at more rons), but I really don't mind at all because there's no better team to root for in sports than a terrible club. ----HAHAHA 3rd and final out bounces up on Iwamura and he gets an error and the game goes on ---- but anyway, the Pirates who have a history full of bad losses, have only seen a shutout this bad 1 time before in their 124 year history (18-0).

3-0 count...... WOW and there's ball 4.... 19-0 and now officially the worst game in the history of the Pirates

But as I was saying, I love shitty teams like this, I love the underdog and I watch sports to see the upset.

My Penguins were this bad for a while after the early 90's and going into the 21st century... I didn't know it quit yet at the time, but I loved every minute of it.  With their 'student rush' program I got to go to everygame 30 minutes before game time and wait in line for best available remaining seats for $20.... I went to 31 of the 41 home games that season for $20 each, never sat deeper than section C and a few times I was in the front 10 or 15 rows of section A... can't beat it, and there's nothing better than the defending cup champs coming in and not being prepared for a dog with some bite, and the shitty group of nobodies pulls off the home upset (usually with some good betting value too).

Don't get me wrong, I do love the Pens, love our superstars, and love that they are being so successful.... but other than coughing up some $ for playoff ticets I haven't been to a regular season games in over 2 seasons, and I can't get excited for the games anymore - If they win, I'm satisfied, but not happy, and if they lose its a complete disappointment.  Anything but the stanley cup and I won't be happy.

At least I still have my BUCCOS Lets go Bucs!!!!  Bottom 9, only 21 runs to go...
