   Jaguars +13.5 vs Falcons (Intertops) -- Jags have only lost one game all year by more than this number.   Their defense actually is pretty decent.   And on offense, they have the league's top running back and can cut down on Atlanta's possessions by keeping the ball.   Worth noting that Atlanta's left tackle is out too.

   Georgetown/Alabama under 133 (Intertops) -- Once you've watched Alabama play, you will become a believer in their tough defensive ability.  Teams are shooting just 32% against them and scoring under 53 points per game.

   Seahawks +3 vs Eagles (Intertops) -- Eagles are banged up all over the place, they don't have a very good defensive front to start with, and they have to fly 3000 miles and play on a very short week.   Hey, these are two 4-7 teams, I'll take the one at home getting the points.

   Houston -1 vs LSU (Intertops)

   Duke +7.5 vs Ohio State (Intertops) -- the only good team OSU has played all year is Florida and the Buckeyes won that one by 7.   Can't pass up Duke getting this kind of #.

   Clemson +1.5 vs Iowa (Intertops) -- both teams have dropped a couple out of conference games to teams from "lesser" conferences.   But College of Charleston and Coastal Carolina, the two teams that knocked off Clemson, are actually pretty strong teams, and both those losses were by less than a basket, while Iowa's out of conference losses were by 16 and 23 points.

   Tennessee -1.5 vs Oakland (Intertops) -- pretty impressed with Cuonzo Martin's young Volunteer squad in Maui, only losing to Duke by 10 and taking Memphis deep into OT.

   St Bonaventure +8 vs Virginia Tech (Intertops) -- I don't go against my Hokies very often, but this is not a good spot for us.   We are playing our 3rd game in 5 days and it has to be a bit of a letdown to play St Bonaventure after facing off with Syracuse and Oklahoma State in Madison Square Garden.  St Bonaventure only has 3 games under their belt, but they look pretty solid so far, their only loss coming by 3 points to a very tough Cleveland State team that has beaten Vanderbilt.

   St Louis -18.5 -115 vs Boston College (Intertops) -- BC lost at home to UMass by 36; UMass played 3 other weak opponents (Northeastern, Elon, and NJIT) at home and beat them all, but none bymore than 21.   BC lost by 22 at Holy Cross, who in turn has lost to Harvard, Fairfield, and Charleston by 9, 21, and 9 points respectively.   BC is absolutely horrible this year.   They eked out a 3 point win at home vs New Hampshire, who is perennially in the 300s in RPI ranking.   Meanwhile, St Louis is undefeated, and beat a very good University of Washington team last week by 13.

   College of Charleston -1 vs UCF (Intertops)

Last week:  4-5, -1.50 units
Season:  46-49, -7.05 units

   Texas +8.5 -105 vs Texas A&M (Intertops) -- A&M has only won 4 games by more than this, and three of those were vs really bad teams.   I also expect an emotional effort from the Longhorns, as A&M is deserting the league and the long rivalry to join the SEC.  And the Longhorns have the superior defense here, by quite a margin.

   Louisville +3.5 vs South Florida (Intertops) -- Louisville is in the thick of the race for the Big East title and a BCS berth.   They have won 6 of 7 games.   USF has lost 5 of 6 and their starting QB is probably out for this one, and they have a long list of other injuries.  Seems to me the wrong team is favored here.

I actually also played Stanford -10.5 yesterday and did a little writeup here on covers.... but forgot to hit the submit button.   (Went to see if there was one more late game I wanted and forgot to come back).   So I was actually 1-1 yesterday.   But I didn't post it, so I can't count it. 

Anyway, today:

   Boise St -13.5 vs CS Northridge (Intertops) -- Boise looks like they could be a very competitive team in the MWC this year.   They have already pounded ex-MWC team Utah.

   Colordao +1.5 vs Maryland (Intertops) -- I don't think the line has quite figured out how truly overmatched the Terps are yet, with just 7 scholarship players, no quality frontcourt players, and one of their top returning guards out until January.

   Broncos +6 vs Jets (Intertops) -- Jet's' great pass defense isn't very useful vs a team that doesn't pass anyway.   Somehow Tebow keeps managing to find a way to win.

   UNC-Wilmington +13.5 vs Maryland (Intertops) -- The Terps only have 7 scholarship players and nobody very good in the front court.  A new coach.   This is a total rebuilding year and they will be very, very bad, especially early in the season.    They lost one of their two experienced returning guards, Pe'Shon Howard, to injury and the 7' Ukrainian recruit isn't eligible for hte first 10 games.
