So, Dallas is up 3-2, surprised? Well not me. I knew Dallas wouldn't be an easy matchup against Miami and I knew they had very good chance to win the whole thing from the beginning. That's why I was quite shocked when the bookies made Miami the favorite to win the series.
To me, Dallas is the better "team" as in more complete team with One Superstar (Dirk), many role players, and deep bench. Miami has Two Superstars, with the BEST player (James) but they're not a complete team in my opinion. Having two superstars, who are SG and SF is not easy to play together, and Big Three just can't win everything by themselves without complete squad with good role players. As you all probably know, Miami SUCKS in late mins of the 4th qt, because they have TWO Superstars James and Wade, and both want the ball at the top of the key, which causes a bit of problems psychologically. Neither of them are a spot up shooters so they won't make the shot if either one passes to each other for the last shot.
Plus, if Miami were to win the championship.... isn't that TOO GOOD to be true? 1st year team to go all the way? that's just not fair in my opinion. Dallas is more deserving champion, getting to Final in 06, getting knocked out in 1st round of playoff in 07 after accomplishing best record in NBA that year, and now in Final again. This team is far more experienced than Miami as a team and they will not go away that easy with +5.5 given to them. This is actually Dallas' FINAL game because if they lose this? There's a good chance Miami will win in Game 7 and Dallas knows that.
Also, this is definitely Dirk and his aged crew's last run to NBA Final and they sure will not let this chance slip away with one more win to go. Miami in the other hand, they still have many years to come to win the championship with their young super talented players.
Right now, many people expects Miami to "bounce back" to win the championship in game 7, but Dallas has the momentum, James playing like crap and they know this is Do or Die situation for this year's championship AND their CAREERS. With all the veterans in Dallas, fully focused as if this is their last game of their career, I am backing the dogs in this situation.
