We should probably fade Missouri for the entire 2009 season.....

QB Chase Daniel (heisman canidate)
 
WR Jeremy Maclin (all american)
 
TE Chase Coffman (all American)
 
RB Jimmy Jackson
 
LB Brock Christopher
 
DL Ziggy Hood
 
S William Moore
 
QB Chase Patton (only other qb on depth chart with any game experience)
 
Dl Strykar Sulak
 
K Jeff Wolfert ( best kicker in mizzou history, most accurate in college history i think)
 
 
 
I know every team loses talent, but Mizzou is gonna struggle BIG TIME this year. The lost all 4 "talent" position on offense and ALL of their big play defensive people.
 
Gary Pinkel is a horrible coach. I hate him with a passion. This team will be lucky to win 4 games imo.
 
they will be waaaaay overvalued due to the last couple years success.....

Train....while what you are saying is accurate, everybody in the civilized world knows Mizzou is going to drop. You will see radical shifts in the spread...immediately.

I can't help myself. Have to pile on.  Been floating around here for 4 yr's now and have seen alot of dumb thing's said.(some by me, like I alway's call the Nevada QB Kilpatrick because I can never remember his name) The Chase Daniel's remark take's the cake.

fact is, he is overrated from the standpoint of his ability as a pro... he really doesn't have any NFL potential...

 

but we are talking CFB... the guy has been lighting it up for the past 3 years... he would complete like 15-20 passes in a row on a regular basis...

 

to say that he won't be missed is simply way off base...

 

Missou is rebuilding... that's all there is to it... they won't be a factor in the Big 12 by any stretch...

I understand MU lost alot of talent.  But, my numbers still show MU stronger in power, Ill stronger stability.  My projected line shows these two teams are even.  Even with most the talent gone from MU, my numbers indicate a very close game here, which means MU +7 should be $.  gl 2 all this season.

Train, I always enjoy your post. I don't always agree with some of Pinkel's decisions, but to say that he is a horrible coach??? In eight years at MU, he is third on the all time wins list with a 59-41 record, and a 132-78-3 record in 18 years as a head coach.He's taken us to 5 bowl game in 8 years, when we were in 2 the past 20 years prior. We've had some horrible coaches here at ol mizzou, but he is far from that. Good luck this year with all of your picks!
