Pitt pick over Baltimore- Baltimore has issues on their offensive line and Pitt's receiving corps has looked explosive in the preseason. Baltimore did get Lee Evans, but Flacco lost two security blankets in Heap and Mason and that won't bode well for them against Pitt's D in week 1.
Buffalo +5 over KC- I like Buffalo's D this season. Williams and Dareus on the D-line and secondary now healthy is solid. I'm a big fan of Fitzpatrick and I think he makes the difference against a KC team that has trouble passing the ball.
Houston -9 over Indy- Houston won't take pity on the Colts, who go from a very good team to a very bad one without Peyton.
Philly -4.5 over St. Louis- Not sure St. Louis' D has the horses to stop Vick and DJack. Don't see their receivers getting open down the field, which should allow Philly to contain them on D. Don't see how they stay in the game, although many are calling for an upset. I just don't see it.
Ten pick over JaxLike Hasselbeck and the Titans to win their division this year. Jax is not a very good team at all.
San Diego -8.5 over MinnyMcNabb is terrible. I don't see SD taking any chances of having a poor start to the season. Rivers will keep the Vikings at arm's length.
SD/Minny over 42.5See the Chargers putting up a lot of points and AP will run hard and score a few TD. This number seems too low.
Washington +3 over Ny GiantsLike the Redskins as a sleeper this year. Giants have a handful of key injuries on defence and the Redsk...

This is interesting to me.
New Orleans played and beat Seattle in New Orleans 34-19 on November 21 and here were the statistics from this game:
Hasselbeck 32/44 for 366 yards, 1 td and 0 interceptionsBrees 29/43 for 382, 4 tds and 2 interceptions
First downs: Saints 26, Seahawks 21Rushing Yards: Saints 112, Seahawks 58Passing yards: Saints 382, Seahawks 366Penalties: Seahawks 8 for 79 yards; Saints 3 for 24 yards
Neither team allowed a sack.Marshawn Lynch fumbled the ball over to the Saints twice.
Judging from the numbers this game could have been much closer and if Seattle cleans up some of the penalties and Lynch doesn't fumble twice, then Seattle could find itself right in the game.
Seahawks are tougher at home and have no pressure to win this game, while the weight of the world is on Brees and the Saints shoulders just to not choke.
Another point is that the Saints are missing both Chris Ivory and Pierre Thomas, meaning they do not have a RB capable of getting a tough yard.
All this being said, I'm on the fence as to which side to go on for now, but would like to hear some thoughts with regards to these points if anyone has anything to say!
Thanks for reading my rant! ...

Just some thoughts on this game.
With the Kings winning a couple of games lately and the Nuggets having been terrible on the road all year, it would seem as if this would be a good time to step in and take the Kings and the points at home being on National TV and all.
However, the Nuggets have a ton more talent and if they come to play tonight, they could blowout Sacramento. I believe that last time they played on a TNT Thursday, they had a really tough loss against SA and might be really up for this game.
Maybe I'm a complete fool though.
Let me know what you guys think.

Hey Guys,
Thinking of taking the over 45 tonight, but very concerned about the weather. Is it going to be impossible to pass? Maybe someone living in the Foxborough area can help me out here. I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks!

BIG PLAYS 1-0
Locked in:
BIG PLAY: Bulls ML -125 over Magic
Loving the Bulls to win this game. I think they are the better team and they will be extremely motivated to beat the Magic at home. No open 3 pointers for Orlando tonight! Just to make sure they don't win by a point or two, I bet the ML.
Normal play:
Clippers +7.5 over Spurs
Spurs have beaten them easily twice this year. Clips are at home and facing the Spurs off a back to back. SA will fool around for sure here and could be upset.

BIG PLAYS 1-0
Locked in so far:
OKC -4 over Mavs
The Thunder will come out with a ton of energy at home tonight and beat the Mavs, who needed Nowitzki to score 42 points last night in order to beat the Pistons at home.
Celtics -11.5 over Nets
I made this bet simply because the Nets have Kris Humphries as their starting PF. The Celtics are going to walk all over the Nets, who have been playing over their heads lately.
Should be more to come. GL tonight

Don't think Charlotte is any better than Minnesota. 8.5 is too much here.
Phoenix pick FIRST HALF over Denver
Phoenix may be tired after beating the Lakers last night, but Denver is coming in after having a few days off and may not play as hard as Phoenix coming off a win. Phoenix may lose their legs in the second half, but I like them to lead at the break.
GL tonight guys...

Okay, here's the way I see this game. Still don't know who to take so any input, especially with reasons or logic are much appreciated.
So I think the Eagles are definitely the more talented team here. Vick is consistently better than McNabb and the Eagles have one of the best, most explosive players in the game in Desean Jackson.
Redskins defence is ranked very poorly, but for some reason have looked good when I have seen them. They seem to be good when they're playing hard and seem to have some hard hitters, which could spell injuries for Vick or Jackson if they run around too much in the open field.
I think the Eagles defence can definitely be passed on and the Redskins should be able to move the ball a little bit if McNabb can have a decent game, which you would think has been his focus ever since being benched two weeks ago. Maybe the benching will rejuvenate him and get his ass into shape for the second half of the season. Who knows, maybe Haynesworth used the bye week to work out as well? LOL
Redskins are off a bye and Shanahan has already beaten the Eagles once this year. Eagles were prepping for Colts last week. Now, the Eagles are a 3.5 point favourite in Washington. I know the Eagles seem to be more talented, but maybe Washington is the pick here???
Or maybe I am wrong and the Redskins have a leaky D and the Eagles are just going to have revenge on their minds and rip it apart. And maybe there are too many problems in the Skins locker roo...

Okay, so here are my thoughts on this game. Would love to hear opinions on this.
Ravens are the better team IMO, but don't like the way they play sometimes, especially in their loss to the Pats on the road. They played too conservatively and ran the ball into the Pats d-line time and again even though the Pats were stuffing them.
If they had played more aggressively and gotten the ball to Boldin, Mason, Housh, etc., they would have won that game by two TD's.
Now, you have a situation where Atlanta is 17-1 at home with Matt Ryan at QB and I think the Falcons will stuff Baltimore's run as well.
So it comes down to this IMO: Will the Ravens be aggressive and let Flacco throw it around and exploit Atlanta's weak pass D, or will they play conservatively again and try to win by a FG only to see Matty Ice come out and throw the winning TD pass in the 4th quarter?
As far as the over/under is concerned:
I think both teams should be able to pass a bit, but concerned teams may play conservative and be a little sloppy since they're both on short rest.
WHAT TO DO?!!!

Clippers +8.5 over New Orleans
I think the Clippers are on the rise. No one to take stupid shots with Foye and B. Diddy both hurt. Hornets are a very good team, but will not be focused enough to beat a Clips team that will put forth a better effort by more than 8.5.
Might post one or two more plays...leaning on the Blazers -9.5, but this may be my only play today. Stay tuned!
Good luck tonight!

JUST LEANS FOR NOW:
KC -7.5 over Buffalo...KC will run it right down Buffalo's throat. They get up for every game and they're a dependable smart team. Their defence is good and Buffalo won't put up points like they have in the last two games. Ryan Fitzpatrick is no Dan Marino!
Carolina +3 over St. Louis...The Panthers are a different team with Matt Moore. Rams' weapons are limited on offence and Panthers are pretty balanced if they can continue to pass a little bit like they did last week against SF. Rams will win by a FG AT MOST, but I think they lose outright.
Jets -6 over GB...Top team (along with Pitt) coming off a bye at home against the Packers (stupid team with a bunch of injuries). Rodgers should be under fire and Jets should be able to do what they want on O with their balanced attack.
Jax +6.5 over Dallas...Don't get why everyone thinks Dallas will suddenly play well with Kitna. Kitna looked terrible and Garrard is coming back for the Jags. Dallas' O-line has looked bad all year and Kitna will feel the pressure. Dallas can't run. And Dallas' defence just stinks. Jags could win outright.
Cincinnati -1.5 over Miami...I still think Cincy is a good team. I think they beat the Dolphins at home.
Detroit -2.5 over Washington...I'm still convinced McNabb stinks. I like Detroit's d-line with Suh. I like their offence with CJ and Best. I think they've got a good coach and I think they're going to get better and better. They'll beat the overrated Redskins thi...

Today's Leans (LEANS ONLY):
Atlanta -3.5 over Philly...Don't think Atlanta will come close to losing this game. They're a top team right now and I think they're going to have a great season.
Sac +2 over NJ...Tyreke Evans makes his first appearance of the year. I like the tandem of Evans and Cousins. The Nets aren't a great team and Sactown should be able to get inside and score at will on them, taking advantage of Evans' ability to penetrate.
Boston -9 over NYK...Celtics should dominate inside and win easily coming off a loss.
New Orleans +1 over Denver...I don't think Denver is on their way to a great season with Carmelo pouting and Shelden Williams starting at PF. New Orleans should take care of business at home as a dawg.
Detroit +6 over OKC...just think OKC might be a little overconfident going on the road to Detroit. Expecting Detroit to be a little better this season, especially at home, but just a hunch.
Phoenix +5 over LAL...maybe 1st half +? too...Phoenix on b2b, but didn't have to play big minutes last night in an easy win over Portland. Just looked really in sync last night and should translate into a close game at home. Might want to go with the first half if you're worried about Lakers taking over in the end.
Clippers +5.5 over GS...Clippers will battle hard all year and 5.5 might be too many points if Ellis and Curry aren't quite as hot as they were in the opener.
Will lock in my plays later....
