I have generated a Mathematical Formula to produce a line (spread and total) for sporting events...
I feel the books produce a Perceived Line, one in which they perceive which way the public will bet.
It is of my opinion that Mathematics can beat Perception, over a large volume of plays and a longer time period.
In this thread, i will play any difference of 3pts or more in the NBA. I will try and stick with the greek sportsbook for this experiment. I will personally be betting only to win $50 on each selection for the first 100 plays.... After that, the formula will undergo an evaluation, based on its performance.. A modest 55% ATS will be the goal, as there will be a large number of plays...

While its getting late in the season, i hope i can still provide some winners to the forum. Looking forward to finishing out the season here at Covers..

getting started in what should be a revenge game for the giants today as they failed to close the door last night for Lincecum.
although Zito has struggled in his career against the reds, he has pitched well in his last 2 outings of the season.
what you have in this game is a team with a chance, versus a team that has struggled of late and has found their way out of the race.
go with the better team, the home team, the hotter team, with quite frankly the hotter pitcher going in this one, who also has a reason and revenge on their mind.
its a short price, so lay the small juice and take the giants at home in this one.
