Fantasy Football Week 9

I won my Week 8 matchup 99.00 to 82.38. I am now 4-4. I have gotten a lot of help from different contributors, and will need some more this week facing what I feel will be my most difficult matchup to date.

Offensive Standouts were:

QB Peyton Manning: 24.60

Defense NY Jets: 15.10

WR Percy Harvin: 14.90

Offensive Disappointments were:

WR Lance Moore (I inserted him at the last moment over Steve Smith. Turned out to be a mistake, as Smith would collect 11.80 points): 2.50

TE Tony Gonzalez: 2.90

W/R Josh Gordon: 4.60

Stephen Gostkowski is on a "bye" this week, so I dropped the Jets, and picked up Sebastian Janikowski. I'm not convinced that the Cincinnati Bengals are the best defensive unit, as they face Denver this weekend, so I dropped WR Robert Meachem and picked up the Houston Texans, who face the Buffalo Bills.

Here is this week's starting lineup, and my current bench:

QB: Peyton Manning

RB: Chris Johnson

RB: Darren McFadden

WR: Steve Smith

WR: Percy Harvin

TE: Tony Gonzalez

W/R: Hakeem Nicks

Kicker: Sebastian Janikowski

Defense: Houston Texans

Bench

RB: Ben Tate

WR: Lance Moore

QB: Robert Griffin III

WR: Josh Gordon

Defense: Cincinnati Bengals

Kicker: Stephen Gostkowski (BYE)

My opponents lineup this week:

QB: Ben Roethlisberger

RB: Reggie Bush

RB: Alfred Morris

Defense Cincinnati Bengals: 23.90

QB Robert Griffin III: 17.22

Offensive Disappointments were:

TE Jared Cook: 3.70

Hakeem Nicks: 5.30 (was still nice to have him back on the field though)

The Bengals are on a bye this coming week, so I dropped Jared Cook and picked up the New York Jets who are at home to the Dolphins.

Here is this week's starting lineup, and my current bench.

QB: Peyton Manning

RB: Chris Johnson

Fantasy Football Week 7

I won my Week 6 matchup 101.56 to 97.08; I am now 2-4. I left Chris Johnson in the lineup and was rewarded. I pulled out RG3 for Peyton Manning. Griffin would go onto dominate, and I was little worried after the first half on Monday Night Football, but Manning would recover to lead his team for the big come from behind victory.

Offensive Standouts were:

QB Peyton Manning: 22.16

Defense Cincinnati Bengals: 18.80

RB Darren McFadden: 13.80

WR Percy Harvin: 13.40

Kicker Stephen Gostkowski: 13.00

Offensive Disappointments were:

WR Andre Roberts: 1.80

W/R Robert Meachem: 3.00

TE Tony Gonzalez: 4.20

Gonzalez has a bye-week coming up, so I dropped Jackie Battle, and picked up Jared Cook from the Titans.

Here is this week's starting lineup, and my current bench.

Fantasy Football Week 6

I'm finding that Fantasy Football is a difficult game. I'm playing with a bunch of veterans, and suffice it to say, my first year into the fray has not been kind. I was doomed this week the second that Robert Griffin III was concussed. I didn't actually lose by much, but am now just 1-4, succumbing 88.82 to 84.04 to my opponent. For a third straight week, Hakeem Nicks was a late scratch, while Chris Johnson once again took a step back.

This week Jacksonville is on a BYE, so I got rid of it and grabbed Cincinnati which is at home to the Browns this weekend. I also got rid of WR Justin Blackmon and picked up WR Andre Roberts, in case Nicks is once again unable to go this weekend.

Offensive Standouts were:

WR Percy Harvin: 23.60

W/R Robert Meachem: 18.70

TE Tony Gonzalez: 18.30

Offensive Disappointments were:

QB Robert Griffin III: 0.34

RB Chris Johnson: 0.90

RB Jackie Battle: 1.70

WR Steve Smith: 4.00

Here is this week's starting lineup, and my current bench:

QB: Peyton Manning

RB: Chris Johnson

RB: Darren McFadden

WR: Percy Harvin

WR: Hakeem Nicks (hopefully)

TE: Tony Gonzalez

W/R: Robert Meachem

Kicker: Stephen Gostkowski

Defense: Cincinnati Bengals

Bench:

QB: Robert Griffin III

WR: Steve Smith (BYE)

RB: Ben Tate

RB: Jackie Battle

WR: Lance Moore (BYE)

WR: Andre Roberts

Fantasy Football Week 5

I lost my Week 4 matchup 103.50 to 78.12. I'm now just 1-3 on the year.

For the second straight week I was unable to use Hakeem Nicks. For the first time this year, Chris Johnson finally put some points on the board.

Offensive Standouts were:

QB Robert Griffin III: 19.22

RB Chris Johnson: 15.70

Def Jacksonville Jaguars: 11.00

Offensive Disappointments were:

RB Darren McFadden: 3.80

WR Percy Harvin: 3.40

WR Steve Smith: 4.20

Here is this week's starting lineup, and my current bench. Note that McFadden has a bye-week this week. I traded TE Coby Fleener for RB Jackie Battle (this trade is pending as of Tuesday, and will be finalized Wednesday morning. There is a chance that someone else has picked up Battle, in which case I'll be back to the drawing board, and will update you on what move I did end up making.)

QB: Robert Griffin III

RB: Chris Johnson

RB: Jackie Battle

WR: Steve Smith

WR: Percy Harvin
