I lost my Week 3 matchup 79.52 to 78.64. I'm now 1-2 on the year.
I was down by roughly 10-points heading into Monday Night Football, and my opponent still had Aaron Rodgers left to go. Because of the way our league's scoring is set up, Rodgers would go on to register -5.38 points. Suffice it to say, if he could have thrown one more INT, I would have won this week's matchup.
Offensive Standouts were:
RB Darren McFadden: 17.50
QB Robert Griffin III: 13.34
TE Tony Gonzalez: 15.10
Offensive Disappointments were:
RB Ben Tate: 0.60
W/R Chris Johnson: 2.90
Here is this week's starting lineup, and my current bench. Note that I've traded kicker Nate Kaeding for Stephen Gostkowski.

I won my Week 2 matchup 103.84 to 62.20. I'm now 1-1 on the year.
At the last minute because I was going to be on the road and did not want to risk it, I took out Steve Smith, and inserted Lance Moore. That was a mistake, as Moore was a big disappointment, scoring just 3.00 points, while Smith would in fact get the start and would go on to rack up 10.40.
Offensive Standouts were:
QB RG3: 28.44 points
RB Ben Tate: 21.70 points
TE Tony Gonzalez: 13.00 points
WR Percy Harvin: 11.70 points.
Offensive disappointments were:
WR Lance Moore: 3.00
RB Chris Johnson: 2.80
RB Darren McFadden: 4.10
That's now back to back weeks that both McFadden and Johnson have soiled the sheets for me.
Here is this week's starting lineup, and my current bench:
QB: Robert Griffin III
RB: Ben Tate
RB: Darren McFadden
WR: Percy Harvin
WR: Hakeem Nicks (Nicks' would turn out to be instrumental in the Giants big fourth quarter rally last week, and I sure wish I had him in my lineup; he finished with 199 receiving yards, and 1 receiving TD)
TE: Tony Gonzalez
W/R: Steve Smith
K: Nate Kaeding
Def: Jacksonville Jaguars
Bench:
RB: Chris Johnson
QB: Peyton Manning
WR: Robert Meachem
WR: Lance Moore
TE: Coby Fleener
WR: Justin Blackmon

I have always been fascinated by "Fantasy Football", but have never had a chance to participate in a pool because of my career.
For the first time ever, I've been talked into playing in a league this season. I have never played before. I have never studied any of the strategies. I am as "green" as you can get.
I'm hoping that by sharing my experiences (both my successes and failures), that we can learn together.
Please feel free to make any comments, or give me some help or suggestions.
Each week I'll tweak my lineup, and let you know what moves I've made; players picked up, traded or dropped.
I'll post my oppositions' lineup each weekend as well, and record the result.
Michael Jordan is one of my favorite athletes, as he was/is one of the most competitive people on the entire planet. Jordan loves competition at any level, whether it's basketball, golf, or tidily winks.
I live my life the same way. There is a term for it. "Competition Living".
While I'm just a "rookie", I'm still expecting to win this pool.
So without further ado...
…I am up against 10 other players. I was automatically drafted to pick 9th. Here is my lineup:
Starters:
QB: Robert Griffin III
RBs: Chris Johnson
&
Darren McFadden
WRs: Hakeem Nicks
&
Justin Blackmon
TE: Coby Fleener TE
W/R: Robert Meachem WR
Bench:
Peyton Manning QB
Ben Tate RB
