I lost my Week 4 matchup 103.50 to 78.12. I'm now just 1-3 on the year.

For the second straight week I was unable to use Hakeem Nicks. For the first time this year, Chris Johnson finally put some points on the board.

Offensive Standouts were:

QB Robert Griffin III: 19.22

RB Chris Johnson: 15.70

Def Jacksonville Jaguars: 11.00

Offensive Disappointments were:

RB Darren McFadden: 3.80

WR Percy Harvin: 3.40

WR Steve Smith: 4.20

Here is this week's starting lineup, and my current bench. Note that McFadden has a bye-week this week. I traded TE Coby Fleener for RB Jackie Battle (this trade is pending as of Tuesday, and will be finalized Wednesday morning. There is a chance that someone else has picked up Battle, in which case I'll be back to the drawing board, and will update you on what move I did end up making.)

QB: Robert Griffin III

RB: Chris Johnson

RB: Jackie Battle

WR: Steve Smith

WR: Percy Harvin

TE: Tony Gonzalez

W/R: Hakeem Nicks

Kicker: Stephen Gostkowski

Defense: Jacksonville Jaguars

QB: Peyton Manning

RB: Darren McFadden (BYE)

WR: Robert Meachem

WR: Lance Moore

RB: Ben Tate

WR: Justin Blackmon

My opponents lineup this week

My opponent has a number of his main players with byes this week, including:

QB: Tony Romo

QB: Carson Palmer

RB: Kevin Smith

RB: Doug Martin

WR: Darrius Heyward-Bey

RB: Mikel Leshoure

I will update his lineup closer to the weekend in this same blog post.

So what do you guys think of this week's lineup? (to compare it to last week's, click >HERE<.)

Would you change anything?

I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thank you for your continued help and input!

Hey Dragon, good to see you are getting involved with Fantasy Pools! I love them and think they are great for keeping sharp with individual player stats.

One piece of advice I would give with Fantasy Football (you've probably already figured this out), draft running backs early and often. I make sure I have 4 good RBs on my roster after I draft. It is the thinnest position with the most injuries.

Good luck!

Thanks Chris.

That is good advice, and I did feel I put together a good RB corp with:

Darren McFadden, Chris Johnson and Ben Tate.

Tate had one good weekend for me, but of course starts behind the league leader in Arian Foster. Tate will be great if Foster gets injured (which is a very real possibility. Foster is on pace for more touches this year than any other, and is very prone to injury).

Up until last week Chris Johnson had been the biggest bust in Fantasy Football.

I'd have to say that McFadden has also been a letdown this year.

I'm hoping the addition of Battle (which I can now confirm I did get successfully), and the improved play of Johnson, will turn things around for me this week.

I expect Johnson to heat up, he's had similar slow starts in the past.

As for McFadden, I was high on him this year and am very surprised at his play.

Tate's a solid mid round pick, I expect him to see more action regardless of Foster's health.

Good luck this week!
