Fantasy Football Week 7

I won my Week 6 matchup 101.56 to 97.08; I am now 2-4. I left Chris Johnson in the lineup and was rewarded. I pulled out RG3 for Peyton Manning. Griffin would go onto dominate, and I was little worried after the first half on Monday Night Football, but Manning would recover to lead his team for the big come from behind victory.

Offensive Standouts were:

QB Peyton Manning: 22.16

Defense Cincinnati Bengals: 18.80

RB Darren McFadden: 13.80

WR Percy Harvin: 13.40

Kicker Stephen Gostkowski: 13.00

Offensive Disappointments were

WR Andre Roberts: 1.80

W/R Robert Meachem: 3.00

TE Tony Gonzalez: 4.20

Gonzalez has a bye-week coming up, so I dropped Jackie Battle, and picked up Jared Cook from the Titans.

Here is this week's starting lineup, and my current bench.

QB: Robert Griffin III

RB: Chris Johnson

RB: Darren McFadden

WR: Steve Smith

WR: Percy Harvin

TE: Jared Cook

W/R: Hakeem Nicks

Kicker: Stephen Gostkowski

Defense: Cincinnati Bengals

RB: Ben Tate

QB: Peyton Manning (BYE)

WR: Robert Meachem

TE: Tony Gonzalez (BYE)

WR: Andre Roberts

WR: Lance Moore

My opponents lineup this week:

QB: Matthew Stafford

RB: Marshawn Lynch

RB: Steven Jackson

WR: Torrey Smith

WR: Andrew Hawkins

TE: Brandon Pettigrew

W/R: Michael Crabtree

Kicker: Jason Hanson

Defense: Seattle Seahawks

I'm feeling pretty confident coming off that victory. As the season wares on, I'm finding a lot of parity in my league. The difference between my team (which continues to finally get healthier), and the top in the league is lessening by the week.

Can you see any glaring issues that I'm overlooking this week?

Your comments and participation last week were great. Thanks again for everything and I look forward to continuing this journey with everyone.

Well, that is a pretty strong line-up, no matter how it turns out. I'd try to find a better WR than Nicks, since Eli has so many other targets to go to. I'm not even sure he is even gonna get that many plays, with Hixon playing so well. Cleveland's Josh Gordon is probably available on your wire, and he is the main target for Weeden. I'd also consider finding another defense. I am a Bengals fan, but I'm not playing their D this week. Minnesota might be a better choice, with Zona going to Skelton at QB for the first time since week one. If Buffalo's TE Chandler is available, I'd recommend him over Cook there. Well, good luck. With Matty Ice having such a horrible game last week, I went 8-7 with my 15 teams, for a 66-23 overall record thru the first 6 weeks.

Jungle Kat: Josh Gordon was available. I traded him for Andre Roberts. I've decided to keep Nicks in though, but now have a solid back-up for the future. Great suggestion and thanks for that.

Unfortunately Minnesota was not available as a pick-up, so I'll just go with the Bengals this weekend and hope they show up to play in that Divisional contest.

Funny you mention Chandler, as I had the same idea, and did try to make that trade, but someone in the waiver was ahead of me, and was given priority over me.

Good luck this weekend as well!
