Fantasy Football Week 10

I lost my Week 9 matchup 86.14 to 80.24. I am now 4-5.

Offensive Standouts were:

QB Peyton Manning: 19.44

RB Chris Johnson: 16.50

Defense: Tennessee Titans

Offensive Disappointments were:

WR Hakeem Nicks: 1.00

WR Percy Harvin: 1.40

RB Darren McFadden: 1.70

I have a big trade in the works, but won't post those details until Thursday if it does in fact go through.

So until then, here is this week's starting lineup, and my current bench:

QB: Peyton Manning

RB: Chris Johnson

RB: Darren McFadden (Has a sprained ankle. Is listed as doubtful. My potential trade involves a RB)

WR: Steve Smith

WR: Lance Moore

TE: Tony Gonzalez

W/R: Hakeem Nicks

Kicker: Stephen Gostkowski

Defense: Tennessee Titans

Bench

RB: Ben Tate

WR: Percy Harvin

WR: Robert Meachem

QB: Robert Griffin III (BYE)

WR: Josh Gordon (BYE)

Kicker: Sebastian Janikowski

My opponents lineup this week:

QB: Cam Newton

RB: Michael Turner

RB: Matt Forte

WR: Wes Welker

WR: Victor Cruz

TE: Aaron Hernandez

W/R: Willis McGahee

Kicker: Matt Bryant

Defense: New England Patriots

I believe this is a winnable matchup, especially if I get one of the two RBs I want later in the week. I'll post the results of those transactions shortly.

Update Thursday afternoon: I was able to pull off a blockbuster trade with an opponent that was in last place. I'm sure the other players aren't liking it, but the commissioners of the league pushed it through, and I obviously feel extremely lucky, and am now set up for a great post-season push.

I traded RB Ben Tate and WR Josh Gordon, for RB Ray Rice and WR Marques Colston.

Both have been inserted into my lineup.

WizrduvOdz: With him now being eliminated from playoff contention entirely, it does not benefit him at all obviously. He is being very generous with me, and each of the other players had an opportunity to nullify the trade, but no one did, and the commissioner also let it go through. I feel lucky that I was able to pull it off, and will now be able to contend for the crown I feel in my first year into the Fantasy Football fray.
