The Take
I think we’re going to see some offense in this
one. The Bengals have a dynamic offense,
led by Andy Dalton and AJ Green. Dalton
is near the top of the nfl in yds/attempt, helped by the emergence of young WRs
Hawkins and Binns. The OL has been solid
and provided good protection for Dalton, led by OTs Andrew Whitworth and Andre
Smith. Meanwhile the Dolphins will be
without starting CB Richard Marshall.
Nickel CB Carroll has battled an Achilles injury and could be
limited. The team had to promote D’Andre
Presley from the practice squad this week to shore up the secondary.
Miami rookie QB Ryan Tannehill had his coming out
party last week, putting up huge stats in the loss to Arizona. It was even more impressive considering the
pass rush he was facing and the fact that Fins could not get the rushing attack
going. This week they will be facing one
of the worst rush defenses in the NFL, as cincy is allowing over 5
yds/carry. Look for Miami to continue to
run Reggie Bush behind LG Incognito and LT Jake Long to set up favorable
passing situations for Tannehill. With
the emergence of WR Brian Hartline and the status of the Cincy secondary
(likely without CBs Allen and Kirkpatrick; CBs Clements and Hall are banged up
but probable), I think Miami will be balanced on offense and able to move the
chains. Lets lean Over the total for now
while keeping an eye on the gameday weather.
