Jamal Crawford and Stephen Jackson both won't play tonight against the Clippers. Jackson is serving a one-game league-issued suspension because of his number of technical fouls on the season, while Crawford is being benched tonight and Thursday according to head coach Don Nelson.
Nelson has sat Crawford multiple times this season and has admitted to telling the guard to opt out of his contract this summer.
The Warriors are 2.5-point favorites hosting the Clippers tonight.
On other injury note: NHL leading point scorer Evgeni Malkin didn't practice on Monday because of illness. The Penguins center is probable for tonight but it might be something to monitor.
Oddsmakers have Pittsburgh as -250 home faves tonight against the Thrashers.
Good luck with your plays gang.

Hey gang,
Jazz owner Larry Miller passed away yesterday afternoon after an eight-month battle with diabetes. He took over the team in 1985 and was pretty tight with many of the players. Covers mentions it in today's pick 'n' roll too.
Here's quote from point guard Deron Williams:
"Mr. Miller was a terrific man and friend. He changed the lives of thousands of people. We have all been blessed by his generosity and love for this community, and I am blessed to call him my friend. He gave us a lot of joy, and we will miss him."
On a related note, the Jazz practiced with everyone on the roster for the first time in months. Power forward Carlos Boozer was the big name back on the court but he's expected to practice at least once more before seeing any game action.
Might be a good spot to play the Jazz tonight in Salt Lake, giving 7.5 points to the Hornets.
Good luck everyone and may the winners be yours.

The Salt Lake Tribune is reporting that Utah Jazz guard Deron Williams will miss tonight's game vs. Charlotte with a bruised quadriceps on his right leg.

The Jazz may not need him at home vs. the Bobcats, but it's something to keep your eye on for the rest of the week.
The line for tonight's game is all over the place with Utah ranging anywhere from -6.5 to -8.5. It appears that the books are adjusting to Williams' absence.

Hey guys,
Thought this hot tip might catch the attention of you basketball bettors out there:
"Facing an all but must-win game Sunday night against Denver, the Jazz were forced to stay overnight in Salt Lake City due to issues with their charter jet.
The Jazz passed along word at 12:35 a.m. that they had been unable to fly out and would not leave for Denver until 9 a.m.
The Jazz suffered a similar problem on their pre-Christmas trip, when they were unable to fly out of Detroit after a double-overtime victory and had to stay the night before leaving the next morning for Chicago, where they lost later that night to the Bulls.
Considering they have gone 1-9 in the second game of back-to-back sets this season, even the most minor travel disruption can cause havoc for the Jazz."
Utah is a 7-point road underdog in Denver tonight.
Here's the full story from the Salt Lake City Tribune.
Good luck!
