I just read that Patrice Bergeron has been cleared to play for the Bruins tonight against the Caps. Thought this might help make the decision for a little wager on the B's a bit easier.

"Patrice Bergeron was medically cleared to play after practice yesterday and Claude Julien said this morning that he’ll be back in there tonight against the Caps."

This could give the Bruins an added boost in their first game back from the break. Bergeron hasn't played much over the past couple years because of concussion problems but when healthy he's one of the league's better playmakers.

The Bruins are currently a -145 favorite.

Here's the full story from the Boston Herald.

Good luck!

however, michael ryder is questionable for this game since he has the flu ... he's a much more significant loss than bergeron is a gain because he has the most game winning goals on the team (i think it's 7 or 8) ...

even if ryder plays, you have to think that he won't have his usual energy on the ice ...

Lucic and Ference are also back for Boston.

Starting to get their players back. Not good news for the rest of the league.

Bergeron making a difference. Great play to setup Savard to tie the game at 2.

Bergeron made a great play tonight on the PP to set up the goal that tied it up. Thought he played a good 2 way game tonight and really helped the PP and PK.
