Ok people.  We all know that if you faded Wazzou through the first 8 weeks or so last year, you made a ton of

Personally the Oregon -21 game was my biggest play of the year, when Oregon won by 50 or so.

Just one of the absolute most garbage teams in modern CFB history in my opinion.  Until the lines got really goofy late in the year, this team was a great fade week in and week out and made me lots of money.

Who do you guys see as being this years potential Wazzou?
Teams that are absolutely going to get shellacked all season?

Personally I am looking forward to fading Syracuse, North Texas, Army (duh) and Wazzou again this year.

According to my "Power Numbers" these teams should each finish in the bottom of their respective conference's yet again.

FIU will surprise alot of people this year.  I wouldn't be so fast to fade them, in fact I think they should be in a great spot against Alabama early this season.  If they're catching 21+ points in that game I will be taking a hard look at FIU.

I'm with on WKU, KENT and Miami OH though.

I think Army or UL-Monroe could be around there either.

Sorry, maybe I just think more of this team this yr, but Cuse is in no way, the bottom 5 teams out of 120. They are more of a 105

Be Careful

FIU was 8-4 ATS LY and has some good value again this year

If you faded army last year you lost money.  I personally road army from texas a&m through eastern michigan and went undefeated.

Teams that will struggle include Missouri, Hawaii, both New Mexico's schools, and Syracuse.  Also will be betting heavily against Virginia...trying to switch to a spread offense with possibly a CB starting at QB (Hall) and losing their top 5 returning receivers is a disaster in the making.  This will be the last year for HC Groh at Virginia.

SMU - maybe the only really bad team in a conference where just about everybody got better, and some were pretty darn good to start with.

New Mexico - let's just say they had better beat NMSU.

New Mexico State - Let's just say they had better beat Prarie View.

Wazzou - should have two chances to win a game this year, oddly both in Seattle.

Mother Miami - really have to like what they've done to sure-up their chances of going winless, but they play enough awful teams that they've got to back into a win somewhere.

Viva- Are you seriously saying the 808 state Warriors are going to be in the last 5? I think you should look at their sched and your WAC rankings again.

Groh isn't going anywhere. He is a lot better coach than he is given credit for.  With the QB injuries/distractions UVA had last year, he did a tremendous coaching job.

Not sure why everyone has N Texas and Idaho as fades.  I think both will be around 8-4 ATS and very profitable.

Re: Idaho

Possibly because they've only had 1 winning ATS season in 9 years (barely!) & no winning seasons in conf at all over that period. Their coach is a buffoon and they're a frontrunner candidate for worst run athletic program in D1.

Trust me on this I follow the teams in that region closely and have friends next door in MT; Idaho is awwwwwfullll.

Glenn was a horrible offensive coach as evidenced by their dreadful TO ratio the last 4 years. I put that on the coaches when it reaches that level of ineptitude year after year. Not to mention the offensive numbers regressed sharply over that time (12 ppg!!!) .

Their D has consistently been solid if not spectacular and their DC has stayed on with the new regime; I regard that as a good thing.

The new HC is a disciple of Pinkel and should improve the offense immensely, even this year, and if the D maintains its level they should cover a lot of spreads. 4-18 ATS !!! the past 2 seasons means most bettors will look to fade these guys and there should be very good value with them.

I'm cautiously optimistic that the boys in Laramie will be profitable this year.

keeping in mind the oddsmaker and even casual gamblers know these teams are bad as well, ATS wise you need to find teams that are better or worse than expected, for example Wash St (4-8 ATS last year) was around .500 the previous years and few if any knew upfront they would be one of the worst of all time, now their power rating is so low they actually covered the last 4 of 2008 (and Idaho covering 4 of last 6), unless getting an overly generous opening power rating expect most of the already known to be bad teams to be around .500 ATS and couple such as UNT or others to be possible ATS surprises

The teams that I listed are going to struggle against the number, not necessarily wins and losses.  Hawaii is going struggle on defensse and offensive line is a work in process.  Schedule wise...at Wash St. will be a tough game, UNLV is going to score at will, then they travel to La Tech where its gonna be another blowout.

I dont see very wins on Virginia's schedule and a sixth straight loss to VA Tech WILL seal his fate.

Based on his early season comments... i'd say fading TSW is the best way to go...

anybody who comes into a college football season looking forward to betting on No Texas and Idaho has no fucking idea how to cap...
