Getting ready for NCF Week 2

the worst thing about the start of college football is having so long to evaluate the opening week card, I could honestly bet every game for the first week and feel somewhat good about my side because I have looked at every angle of every matchup more than once, that being said I'm going to stay with my routine and limit my number of games and start getting ready for Week 2, if I look at the Week 1 matchups again I might actually throw up, I'm already sick of the games and they haven't even been played yet

Week 2 Matchups

Stanford @ Wake
not quite sure what to make of the Baylor/Wake matchup and I'm hoping that Wake with squeak by Baylor so I can get some line value for Stanford, I think the Cardinal should be a better squad this season than Wake and should be able to beat them at their place, Wake must beat Baylor first or I won't even look at this one

Byu @ Tulane
the Mormons may be looking to take out some frustration on the Wave if they get buried by the high powered Sooners, if OU wins big then I will be looking at a possible Cougar road chalk here

Texas @ Wyoming
anything in the 20's here and I'm on the Horns, Wyoming isn't even going to be competitive here and I'm looking for Mack and Co. to have a chip on their shoulder, Texas wins big here

TCU @ Virginia
I need to look into the Horned Frogs this year before I get too excited about this one, but my initial feeling is that UVA is in trouble, I think the Cavs will be brutal this year, depending on the information I come up with while researching TCU I might be looking at betting against the Cavs

UH @ Okla St
this total will most likely be set too high to have alot of value but this could be a letdown spot for the Cowboys after they dropkick Georgia back to Athens, UH has a nice offense and should be able to put some points up on the Pokes secondary, when the Boys beat Georgia I will expect this line to open up too high and might be looking at a value dog here in Houston

Memphis @ Mid Tn St
I fully expect the Tigers to throw in the white flag for the season after Ole Miss buries them, Memphis is not well coached and they never show any heart, the Blue Raiders will probably be coming off a tough game with Clemson and be excited to get back home and host a school like Memphis, I will only consider a play on Midd Tn here depending on what happens in Week 1

Rice @ Texas Tech
Leach loves to run it up on whoever, wherever, he doesn't care about in-state teams, not sure he cares for his own family, he is ruthless and that is why I like betting him as a big favorite against bad teams, he just buries them, will be looking at Tech or nothing here depending on how big the line is

Mia Oh @ Boise
this situation will all depend on what happens with the Oregon/Boise game, if Oregon wins a high scoring thriller then I might be prepared to back Boise here for the simple fact that Miami Oh is just a disaster at all levels

USC @ Ohio St.
the Trojans losing their top O-lineman, their top WR and their QB should help Ohio St. here, that being said, does that slow offensive line really present a threat to a speed team like USC?  if ever there was a time that those bums from the Big10 could beat a real team than this would be it, USC lost their entire defense to the NFL, they are starting a freshman QB and he has already lost important weapons before the season starts, not to mention this is a huge revenge game for Ohio St., value says go with the Buckeyes, but common sense says USC will beat them like they do everyone else in big games, need to see both teams this weekend before I decide here

Purdue @ Oregon
this line just can't be set high enough, Oregon is going to murder Purdue by 40, Boilers travel cross country to play a late night game in Autzen against the high flying Ducks in CK's first home game as head coach, yikes for Purdue fans, this is a major blowout that will get out of hand quickly, I can only hope Purdue plays well against Toledo so I can get more line value here, I will be on Ducks here regardless of the line, this has Large Money written all over it

Tulsa @ New Mexico
need to see how Tulsa's offense plays this week at Tulane, if they blow them out then I will know they are still explosive against lesser teams and be looking to take them against the Lobos, this will be Tulsa or no play here

it isn't rocket science, it is called winning
