Week 1 4-1-1
Week 2 2-4-0
Total 6-5-1 (55%)
What to take away from Week 2 Handicapping
I was completely wrong with Oregon and on the wrong side of that game, my other 3 losses were by a combined 6.5 points, so that is now a total of 4 losses on the year by a combined 9 points, I'm going to be on the right side of some of those numbers eventually so can't get bent out of shape at this point, just part of the deal
What I learned from Week 2 Games
- Chip Kelly was one of the best offensive minds in college football the past few years but it appears he is suited to be a coordinator, not a head coach, his team is heavily penalized and they show no accountability, the Ducks look bad right now in most areas
- USC's offensive coordinator cost USC the cover last night and almost the game, his play calling was a joke, it kept the Slowkeyes in the game and Pete C will need to get things ironed out with him as the season goes forward or they will lose to a team they shouldn't lose to, they already miss Steve S as he appears to be a coaching mastermind at UW right now
- Houston is a better football team than Georgia, they basically did what they wanted to against Oklahoma St, I watched UGA play South Carolina last night and those powerful SEC defenses were looking wonderful as usual, the Cocks scored 7 points against NC St and UGA scored 10 points against Okie St and they both scored 40 against each other
- UCLA got a big win in a brutal environment, props to them for traveling cross country to take out the Vols for a 2nd straight year, that dope coaching Tennessee deserves what he gets after making such arrogant statements about beating the Bruins all week, suck on that SEC, take Florida out of their conference and they are just another conference, maybe ESPN will get the clue and actually give another conference some credit for once
- I'm done laying the big number with Texas, they look sloppy
- Florida is so good I'm not sure who can compete with them, most likely nobody, that team is simply loaded
- Colorado is a laughable program and Hawkins is done
- Tulane, New Mexico and Miami Oh should all be Division II this year, they couldn't beat alot of the high school teams I see here in Texas
- Cincy can flat out score and Brian Kelly can coach, they may win at Oregon St if Pike continues to play well
- Penn State's players on are on the take, thank God I have bet that team so far, think what you want, but don't be surprised if some allegations come along soon, sort of like what happened with Toledo, I will be against them on heavy favorite lines the rest of the season most likely, some funny stuff going on in their games
- Utep is very bad against good teams, KU was easy money
- Kent St is..........well Kent St...........BC was easy money
- Georgia Tech is a terrible favorite over teams with good athletes and Clemson is a better team than them, I could have got the cover in that game but I didn't have the better team
- Florida St should be ashamed for hyping themselves, they suck
- UNC looked awful on offense and will have to shape that up if they expect to compete for an ACC title
My Top 5
- Florida
- Texas
- USC
- Alabama
- California
I will not be posting plays tonight, I'm going to wait until Thursday or so to bet this week, the only way I post a play tonight is if I see a must play favorite
Best of Luck
