Vick Close to signing with NFL Team

Reports are saying that he is close to signing, but no details of with who.  Any guesses?

I believe the report just says close to signing with a team. Does not specify which league.

is that true? Thats a terrible idea. WHole lot different running for yards from the QB position, where open field occurs quite frequently, than at the WR position.

Haha...I haven't got my tix but will soon.  I'm also so excited for this game.  I hope both teams are 4-0 before we meet.  I believe you guys will be, but I'm not so sure about us, with road games at Minn. and Oregon.  If we happen to pull those out, it will be a battle of possibly two top 5 teams!!!

As for your RV, you may be SOL carrying that load.  I don't know of any.

Not Bengals bound, but it would be fitting with Hard Knocks being at their training camp. Now wouldn't that make for some interesting tv. Mike Vick, Ocho Cinco, and the rest of the characters. I'd say he should play in the UFL. Vikings, New England, Pittsburgh, Baltimore probably the only NFL teams I could think of he will play for. UFL makes a lot of sense, he can go play QB for 6 games, and become a free agent again after those 6.

Good point.  He truly is using that as a gimmick to try and entice other NFL teams to believe an NFL team is close to signing him so they can pull the trigger.

Mike Vick is in Foxborough, MA right now as I type this. I am not making this up or trying to create a rumor. He was seen by multiple people at the airport this morning and walking into the offices at Gillette. 100% fact. Whether they'll actually sign him is another story

Tick, tick, tick and no ones signing Vick. Tick, tick, tick.
He's radioactive now. He's not going to sign until into the season. They won't let this be big news when nothings going on yet, after things are going, it'll definitely get attention, but none of the owners got to where they are by going after him at a dead time like now. I'm just glad it won't be AZ.
