Ravens

I am starting this topic to see what everyone else thinks. Will the Ravens make the playoffs this year? They share a division with the Steelers, the defending Super Bowl Champs. Another big question for the Ravens is "will Joe Flacco repeat what he did last year?" If he does, then I think the Ravens will be one of the most elite teams in the AFC. They already have a good defense and if they upgrade their offense, it would be scary for Steelers fans like myself. I still think the Steelers win the division this year yet again, and do some damage in the playoffs. While the Ravens barely make the playoffs.

So, what do you guys think will the Baltimore Ravens make the playoffs this year, or crash and burn? And, will Joe Flacco repeat what he did last year? Eager to hear from everyone.

I think they win 5 games in the division this year, both games against Cle/Cin (like last year), and split with the Steelers.  That gives them 5 wins with 10 games left on the schedule.  They should be able to beat KC,Den,Det,and Chi at home.  That would give them 9 wins, with some tough road games against SD, NE, and Minny.  Last game of the year @ Oak should be no problem so I see them getting 10 wins this year and making the playoffs.  This is all on paper obviously and going by last years results but I still think 10 wins is about right.  Playoff bound again this year IMO.

I like Cincy in the North AFC...but, don't take out the Cleveland Browns. I'm DOWN with the BROWNS...they rymme with "CLOWNS"!!! No, I really think (I know) it will be The Steelers...6-0...no question. The Ravens will have to settle for an 8-8 record and get spanked through most of it. Ray Lewis makes Michael Vick look like a SAINT.

Flacco has one hell of an arm. it seems he learned a ton after last year. ravens were lacking a qb for awhile and now it seems they found one.maybe lacking a little on the receiver end but if it wasnt for that, they have the complete package...

this is my afc team to make sb

ravens niners sb...

First off great question! With such a fine line in this league between making and missing the playoffs I found this very hard to answer. My first thought was a definite yes as I have to believe Joe Flacco will improve off of an already very solid rookie season. With a pretty good line, good group of running backs, and that D it gives them a shot in any game. The reasons I would say no are a tough road schedule and lack of big play threats offensively. I'm gonna say they slide in as a wild card, yes I guess I'm biased being a huge steeler fan, as i firmly believe Pit will win the division again. I see NE and Pit getting top 2 seeds. SD and Ten winning their divisions. And Balt, Ind and Jax fighting for the 2 wild cards. The week 11 game Indy @ Balt I think will be huge and could prove to be a tiebreaker for the playoffs. I like Houston this year but playing in the toughest division in the AFC I think their still a year or two away. Miami and the Jets could be brought up as possibles but I just dont see it happening especially after looking at their schedules. I know opinions are like assholes everyone got em so theres mine, again great question!
