Is the game of football becoming dangerous to the players?

The front yard the KR for the Bills Leodis McKelvin was vandelized by an idiot fan. Why would someone do that? There's just so many IDIOTS out there. Look, the dude made a mistake! He's a human just like the rest of us. I'm sure if Leodis McKelvin would take that moment back he could. Isn't the pain of knowing you cost a Monday Night Football game for your team bad enough? Some fans just take this game TOOOOO seriously!

I mean the fans. Fans are out of control. Football is just a game meant to entertain us. Some people take it too seriously.

Read your local paper. People in general are out of control

Next time that idiot should just fall to the ground instead of trying to gain an extra yard

At least it's not like Soccer in Europe or South America...The fans shoot players who lose games....Anyone remeber the soccer player from Columbia who scored in his own goal and then got gunned down after the game??

That's intense. I just think people take sport games too seriously. If their team loses they feel like killing someone, or if they bet on a team and that team loses, they start vandelizing people's front yards. And McKelvin says he doesn't want anyone to get arrested, what a good person.

I think if an athlete knew for sure that the worst thing a fan would do in their career is vandalize their lawn, they would be happy.....

Referring to your initial post...It's not that they take it too seriously.  They're idiots.  And they will always be among us.

Yeah, the guy didn't kill anybody. Yeah, he cost some people $$, yeah he cost his team the game, but it isn't like he's out there trying to do any of that.

He saw something on the runback that looked good to him and made a bad play. Most teams other than NE wouldn't have capitalized so easily -- Brady is what really made him look bad.

Man I was saying the same thing all day tuesday! What was the extra yard or two really gonna give them? More time for the Pats to strip the ball! What a fuckin moron, I'm glad he plays for the Bills, the proverbial Chicago Cubs of the NFL.

I can't believe he came out of the end zone. Unlike the football smarts of Brandon Stokley to run parallel to the end zone to waste time, McKelvin and the coaching staff doesn't have the brains to tell him to stay in the end zone if the ball is kicked that deep. Buffalo was going to need to make 1 first down. Does it matter if it's from the 20 or 30 yd line? NO. This is why teams like this lose these "heartbreaker" games all the time. Regarding the fact that someone painted something on his lawn, big deal, it'll grow back. It's not like anyone got approached or worse.

At least they didn't shit on his lawn. That would be great! Get six of your good friends and have every single one of them take a crap on his lawn, leave the toilet paper and all.

Actually, he said in an interview the he WOULD run the ball out again if he redid the play and Jauron defended his actions in saying that both hands were on the ball and he was trying to drive a nail into NE's coffin.

Now, I don't agree with the vandalism, it seems McKelvin is a competitive player but not a SMART one for saying he would run it out again.

You have to be competitive AND be a smart player in the NFL.
