World Cup Future Play: South Korea

Guys, take a look at South Korea at +20000. They are always a very disciplined team and well conditioned. Also, they don't get intimidated by the big name teams.

Look at their group: Argentina, Nigeria, Greece. I fully expect South Korea to make it to the second round by ending up 2nd in that group.

In round two, they would play the winner of group A: South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay, France. If South Korea makes it to the second round, I like their chances of upsetting any of these teams.

There's great value in South Korea, no one cares about Asian football and naturally their prices are undervalued.

My take on Artest coming, Ariza leaving

Hate to see Ariza go. Loved the heart and athleticism he brought to the Lakers. However, I believe he gained as much from the Lakers as he contributed on the floor. When you look at players trying to fullfill their potential, it's always good when a young player comes into a stable situation. It's not a coindence that Ariza saw his value in the NBA raise from a nobody-10th-man on the bench to becoming a important piece to a championship team in 2 seasons. Phil Jackson, Kobe Bryant and the whole Laker coaching staff should get a lot of the credit for helping this young man mature into a pro. Obviously everyone in the NBA has talent. What separates the successful players from the unsucessful ones is coaching, right situation, and right system for the most part.

With that said, I believe Ariza is a great guy and a hard worker. He will continue to improve. I don't think he will be a disappointment in Houston but I also don't see him being an All Star anytime in his career.

During the playoff run Ariza's on ball defense against big small fowards had me concerned. It was obvious during some stretches that he's underweight for the position. Especially when he was guarding players like Melo and Artest. They would just eat him alive in the post and offensive glass. Ariza weights 210 pounds compared to Melo at 230 pounds and Artest listed at 260 pounds on NBA.com

Artest will be a better fit on th... [More]

Shaq to Cavs: WORST thing that could of happened to Lebron

This is very funny... Lebron is jumping up n down like a little girl as I'm typing this..   Cavs fans are drooling over the possibilities of a Lebron/Shaq duo...inside presence that Lebron has been lacking for all these years they say.     This is the best news I've heard since Lakers won the championship!!!!   You ask: Why am I happy?...because this trade will do nothing more than GIVE EXTRA MOTIVATION TO THE REAL MVP: KOBE     Previously, Kobe has been quoted as saying he's gonna take over a month off to let his body rest. Lets be honest, before this trade it would be very tough for Kobe to have the same motivation as he did before winning the title this year. What else did he have to prove?   BUTTTTTTTT....this trade will spark that fire in Kobe yet again  Kobe would love NOTHING MORE than to beat Lebron/Shaq in the FINALS!!!! He's gonna be in the gym tomorrow morning 6am SHARP getting ready.   Shaq's legacy will be ruined...trying to ride Lebron just like he did with Wade.             BIG MISTAKE STERN   BIG MISTAKE LEBRON   BIG MISTAKE SHAQ       LETS DO IT AGAIN NEXT YEAR LAKESHOW ...
