Jamie Moyer is my grandfather

How the hell is this guy still pitching in the big leagues?  I mean, he was a decent pitcher back when I was 7 years old but I'm 30 now.  He's 5-2 and his numbers haven't drop off significantly.  Does this mean that these players of a comparable age could still be striking out major leaguers?  Keep in mind Moyer was born in 1962.  It's now 2010.

Doug Drabek - 1962 - Won the Cy Young Award back in 1990.  His son is now a top prospect with the Blue Jays.

Bret Saberhagen - 1964 - Won the Cy Young for the Royals in 1989 with an amazing 23-6 record and a 2.16 ERA.  Also won the award in 1985!  This guy is younger than Jamie Friggin Moyer.

Black Jack McDowell - 1966 - This former AL Cy Young Winner last pitched in 1999.  If he'd been eating Magic Moyer Munchies all this time he could still have 4 years left in that arm.

All the respect, grandpaps.

Zarley.

Any other guys that I missed?

What about Mike Henneman from the Tigers. He's about the same age (1961 I believe). He was awesome. All-Star back in '89. Had a real solid career but he retired in 1996 (14 years ago).

Wish he was still around.

My boy Chuck Finley was born in '62. Haven't seen him pitch in 11 years. Miss the lefty's style. He had a great career.

Nice choices... I forgot about Henneman altogether. Jimmy Key would be another lefty that I'd like to still be watching. He was born around the same time as Moyer.
