First of all, i'd like to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! although i would encourage folks to get out of this horrible habit, i don't want to sound like a hipocrite since i can't do it myself. with that, let's move on to the card of the 31st. Since i am trying to contribute more to the community, i will do my best to come up with writeups for the picks. bear with me.
BULLS @ PISTONS
This one is tricky. You have a Bulls team that is coming off 2 home wins but is horrible on the road going 2-11 SU and 3-10 ATS. Despite that, we all can't help but lean on then as they have Tyrus back. yes he broke his arm but he is back now and making a difference. ah, and of course we see that they have beaten the pistons this season by 7 points. On the other side we see another horrible team in the form of the Pistons. This team is 8-7 SU and ATS at home. Basically, when they win, they cover. More so, what once was an injury-plagued team now has most of the guys back in uniform. You still have to take notice of that 8-game losing streak which is well, bound to be broken. What's more, their latest defeat came at home. Now, they are playing at home again. Revenge is definitely an angle here.
Historical matchups would dictate that the home team wins the games. Most of the recent games though have been covered by Chicago.

Lackluster past few days. Ended up with 4-4 yesterday but fortunately still ended in the green. For tonight's bunch of games...
SPURS -3.0
The Spurs are coming off a HOME loss. This is definitely a bounce back spot for them as they have not lost 2 in a row at home this season.
MAVS-3.5
This is another home team trying to bounce back from a loss. The Mavs are coming in this situation as favorites as home court has been KEY in this matchup with the Hawks.
both are still leans as of now. the line should shift some more in favor of the home squad.
