I'm not sure I will end up regularly posting my plays or not, but here goes. Units/Record will be on my contest page regardless.

Wizards +5.5 (can maybe get +6 as of now)

My Cavs... the goings will be rough for them in this season's beginning, as they will have a lot of 1st and 2nd year players that will be getting big playing time, so they can start developing chemistry asap. Coach Scott has great job security here, so that's why you will see them go young and experiment more, using more "long-term strategy" and not "win it now" strategy.

The Wizards, with their veteran additions, obviously feel a bit differently. Ok I know, the Wizards are banged up, but injuries usually are overvalued by capping. They still got some decent and somewhat young and athletic talent that most haven't heard of, and these guys have something to prove and minutes to earn, while the team has some of their regular starters being out.

Regardless, unless the Cavs are playing the Bobcats, why are they favored by 5.5 or more?...maybe later on the season they can earn that favor, but not now.

Just to warn you....the fact I usually hate betting on the popular games, which the lines are capped much better by the linesmakers most of the time, and usually can be more deceiving...So, of the 3 games on opening night, not many give a damn about this one, and usually those are the easier/less fishy games. BUT, I may fade the Lakers early on the season, as it could be easy profit....so I may add a play on the Mavs later.
