First off lets start with the fact that the game is a 4:05 start which means half the game should be played with shadows between the pitcher and batter.
Second off we get it at even money (only need to hit 50% of the time not 53%) and not every time obviously but usually when vegas sets a total at +100 and -120 (immediately not last second where alot of the times this happens or one side may even go to -125 or -130) they like the side at +100 because the -20 vig doesn't come into play if the other side hits.
Thirdly lets look at reddings past 7 starts and his starts vs the nats.
ERA vs nats 1.38, BAA .217
gave up 4 to the marlins twice, and 3 to the marlins once. In his other 4 starts he has given up 1 at colorado, 0 vs washington, 0 vs philly, and 2 vs the marlins once again. Very impressive holding the rockies to 1 at home, shutting out the phillies shutting out these same nationals and giving up 2 to a marlins team who were in a heated playoff race at the time of all those games.
Im going to post this now and post the next part after in fear this might get deleted (Covers always screws me or i end up hitting back on the browser)
