Despite scoring 24 points, the Hokies had just 155 yards of offense. 7 of those points came on a kick return touchdown.
The FG came off of a short field (took over at the Alabama 14).
The 2nd TD came on a fairly short field (took over at own 49).
The last TD came on a short field (took over at Alabama 37).
If they are able to force some turnovers or get long returns on kickoffs, like they did against Bama, then they can score. However, they weren't exactly shredding the Bama D.
