Rutgers vs. Army

Army has not trailed after the first quarter of any of their home games this year. Rutgers has been on the road once all season and only twice in their last 10 games. They trailed a pretty bad Maryland squad at half time in their only road game of this season. In this case I am taking Army moneyline. I like their mentality in this contest. Rutgers will get impatient and be completely uncomfortable if they trail at any point in this game. The rain is going to be a bitch.

I was really surprised at this number when it came out. It certainly has something to do with Rutgers recent dominance over the Cadets (particularly in the Schiano era). Bottomline though, Rutgers is not that good this year. I have a hard time justifying laying 10.5 with them anywhere, let alone on the road. I've seen them completely exposed a few times unlike any other year in the last say, 5 or 6. I'm not saying I necessarily endorse a play on Army here, but I can assure you the Scarlet Knights won't see a penny of my money at this price.
