How did Atlanta not get more for Kovy? I'm blown away that any other team in the NHL couldn't have proposed a meatier deal. Lou Lam pulled off some magic but there's gotta be something more to this. Lucky for me last week I threw down a bet for the Devils to win the East @ 6-1. There's already movement on that line.

My condolences to the fans in Atlanta. Your team has now left the building.

When a player turns down over 100 million his trade value will obviously plummet. Keep in mind, other teams were not allowed to talk to him about a future contract before the deal, so he is strictly a rental who will most likely end up in Russia next year.
