I'd like to get the league set up before the season starts when will I be able to do this? will I have to wait untill the opening day lines are out?

so I currently have an HMO with my employer that is ok
I dont have a ton of health costs right now but they just decided to cut the HMO and give us a choice of either PPO or HDHP+HSA (high deductible health plan + health savings Acct)
They are really trying to sell this new plan and I'm sure this all stems from the new health care reform but something about it just doesnt feel right
Does anyone have a HDHP+HSA?? or know anything about it??
