Has anyone ever known someone that was killed or badly injured in a accident caused by texting while driving?

If so.. Im very sorry for your loss

they say it makes your chances of getting in an accident 23 times greater in that Allstate commercial but who knows where thay come up with that shit

Anyway long story short I got pulled over this morning for speeding and texting while driving

52 in a 40 construction zone and when he pulled me over he says "well you were speeding back there and I saw you texting, Were you texting?"  so I say "ya I was looking at a text" he says thanks for being honest drops the 4pt $400 speeding ticket and just gives me the 1pt $60 use of ccell phone while driving ticket.

I got pretty lucky but it has me thinkin how this can be very dangerous I text go online look at scores play poker all while driving and Im gonna stop not because I got the ticket but because I think it really is dangerous and I dont want ot be that asshole that kills some kid just because the AVS are in OT and I want to watch the ticker
