The Magna Carta 2014

With the start of the new season, and the fact that the previous thread is so long, this is where the selections will be posted.
Please refer to the other thread if you have any questions. All of the chases in this thread are 5 game chases.

The 7th Inning Stretch

Take the dog in the first game of the day, home or away. If more than one game starts at the same time then take the higher rotation number. One game a day chasing for 7 until victory. Because it's dogs only the chase isn't nearly as expensive as others.
Average Money Line is +150...

2013 Overall Record: (76-0)
G1 - (38-38)
G2 - (22-16)
G3 - (6-10)
G4 - (5-5)
G5 - (4-1)
G6 - (1-0)
G7 - (0-0)

This meant to be a 7 Game All Dog Chase, but it didn't actually get to that last year. I'll be adding previous years as I complete them. This starts from Opening Day and goes to August 31.

The Hoops 8 Ball

The Hoops 8 Ball is a gold mine for this, one of three systems based on the line makers themselves. It's always good to see what the 'pros' think, then base your plays from that. Now on to the action...
1 - You need at least 2 games on the day for this.2 - Find the 2 biggest home favorites. Games must be separated by at least enough hours for 2 games.3 - Chase those 2 games by the half until Victory(If there are only 2 games, then follow the same process regardless of the lines. At least ONE has to be a favorite for this to qualify.)
It's that easy and here are the numbers on the season, starting from 21 days out. We have to give the 'pros' time to give us accurate lines. And unlike the Prime Time Play, neutral site games don't matter.******Important - Anytime the line is a favorite of  -2.5 or less take the Money line! Take dogs ATS*****
********************************************************Overall - (35-1)H1 - (22-14)H2 - (5-9)H3 - (2-7)H4 - (6-1)
Losses (0-1)
Be back later with yet more clarification, if necessary. More to follow...

Turkey Day Teaser - (8-0) Since '92

Turkey Day is here again and it's time to make some holiday .

So with that being said, here's a teaser that's gone (8-0) in the L8 opportunities since 1992. This should bring us profit and cover a few games on this festive day. Put this one in, watch the games, and go to sleep happy and full. Having said that here's the play:

(Cowboys/Lions/Cowboys Ov/ Lions Un)

The Quarter Master

The intensity of an entire game put into a quarter. Doesn't get much better than that.

1) This can be done on any day where there are 4 games.

2) Find the highest total for every time group broken up by at least 30 min. ie;(7/8/9/10 -\- 7/7:35/8:00/9 -\- 7:35/8:35/9/10) etc...

3) Chase the 1st Quarter to go Over the total until completion.

Record:

Overall: (21-0)

Q1 - (10-11)
Q2 - (3-8)
Q3 - (4-4)
Q4 - (4-0)

*****10 Star NCAAF Play Of The Year*****

This is a once a year selection and while I'm not big on it, this is worth it. (7-3) L10 years and should have been better. But what can you do. Only one in ever sport every year and this is mine. Take it for what it's worth...

*****Parlay Players United*****

This is an attempt to put a daily parlay together using team work from members of the forum. There certainly are enough systems going around to get solid plays.
I saw this elsewhere on the forum and it didn't work, primarily (I think) because people were looking for reasons why it wouldn't work vs how to win.

So I'm telling you up front, if you're one of the people that has a reason why this won't work, keep it to yourself. Go be negative nancy somewhere else.

Just 3 rules:

-Post a play that can be put in a parlay.
-Once someone post's a play, you can't post the other side.
-NO Money Lines above -150.

So if you like to play parlays, this may work with all of the bright minds here.
If each of the contributors goes 1-0, it can work. Just win YOUR game and the rest will fall into place...

Any POSITIVE feed back is welcome.

The Prime Time Chase

It's that time of the year again for the Prime Time Chase. I did this last year with a good deal of success, but there were lessons to be learned.

**************************************************
FYI - I don't take loses, I learn lessons.
**************************************************

This system applies to the NBA, NFL, NCAAB, and NCAAF

Here's the rules:

1) Find a major network playing whatever sport you're looking at for that day.. (ESPN, ESPN2, NBC, ABC, CBS, TNT, TBS, FOX)
2) See if that network is playing the same sport in b2b games.
3) Chase the home team for 4 halves until you win.

****The teams MUST be at home. Neutral site games do NOT qualify****

If you use any other network than the ones listed above, it's on you.

And that's it. Let's have a good NFL/NBA/NCAAF/NCAAB season...

Welcome to 2013 MLB.

Here's the 2nd chase. All dogs. Wait for a home team to win by 5 or more as a -150 or more. Then fade the home team. Skip road games.

*****
5*5-1

Here's the 3rd chase. All Dogs. Wait for a home team to lose by 5 or more as a -150 or more. Then take home team on run line. Skip road games.

The Super Bowl Winner - Side and Total & Prop Bets

There's about 10,000 opinions on this game, but I'm sure this will be the one that makes the difference, not...

Well let's make this short and (somewhat) sweet.

***The Niner's haven't covered more than 2 in a row ATS TY. And they just covered their L2***

But...
Since '89, teams that cover the spread by 3 TD's as a +7 dog then play a Non-Conference game are (8-7) S/U and ATS. There has also not been a stretch of more than 3 in a row ATS in that period of time.
This may seem like a bunch of non-sense to some, but hey. It's the Super Bowl and I've certainly read crazier today.
******************************And it sure would be a shame to see another LineBacker bring his team to a Championship game on the heels of emotion, Have News Break about him and then disappear in a loss... ******************************

So my selections for today's game are:

***San Francisco -4***(In A Rout)***SF M/L******SF UN***

And My World Famous Prop Bets -
First Score - FGCoin Toss - HeadFirst T.O. - RavensWill A Team Score 3 Unanswered Times? - YesScore in the 1st 4 Min? - Yes

Phoenix/OKC 2ND Half - Last Play Of The Year

This will be my last play of the year, so I'm making it good.

OKC as a DD Hm Fav is (7-0) ATS in a 1st/2nd Half Chase, not including their last home game vs Dallas as OKC swept them in the playoffs this past season. Mav's out for revenge.

The last play for the year is on:

NBA/NCAAB Prime Time Chase

This is simple, but VERY effective.

Find a night where basketball is on Prime Time TV in b2b games on the same channel.

This will be a 4 Game Chase by the halves. 1st & 2nd halves of both games.

Take each one to cover the half until victory.

NBA
Halves - Game1(1st/2nd) - Game2(3rd/4th)

Game 1(6/0) - Game 2(1/1) - (8-0) Overall

NCAA

The 1st But Not The Last...

So I got lost and somehow ended up here. Since this is my first blogging post, I'm still finding my way around. It's ok though. I'm a quick study.

Stay tuned for some of the craziest things that may or may not work. Just 'cause...
