The Phillies meanwhile showed off some batting prowess of their own led by Jayson Werth's 2 homerun effort as they dispatched the Los Angeles Dodgers 10-4 in last Wednesday's Game 5 showdown.

The series opener will be a duel between two of the leagues best southpaws with the Yankees' 2007 Cy Young winner CC Sabathia and the Phillies' 2008 Cy Young Winner Cliff Lee taking the mound.

Game 1 is on Wednesday.
