My style this season is going to be to find anywhere from 3-5 games
where I deem the value to be too strong to pass on. Traditionally, I
have fared best when capping games that involve teams from the ACC and
MAC. I went to Virginia Tech and am a die hard as anyone who has ever
read my thread knows. I also grew up in Western New York so cheer for
the Buffalo Bulls even they though may end up the worst team in D1 this
season. So those are some caveat emptor's for anyone reading my thread.
I am going to probably have a few more games in week 1 just because
there is so much time to cap the plays before the season begins just 2
wonderful weeks from now.
I have 2 different size bets I will place. My standard bet is 1 unit and
my large plays are 2.5 I have referred to them as Bibendi Special's in
the past so will probably continue that trend.
So far this season I have locked in 4 futures on team totals and my
large play for Week 1 which will have a write up posted within the next
24 hours..
Team Win Bet's(all favorites to win 1 unit and dogs risk 1):
VT O10 -150
FSU U9.5 +130
Wisconsin O9.5 -115
Florida O7.5 -120
Straight bets(Bibendi Special risking 2.75 to win 2.5)
Georgia +3

Pretty excited to get this season started. Should be fresh for this season as I have stopped wagering in all other sports. Just a few things I've seen from the offseason about my Hokies...
Tyrod is the real deal. He is improving his accuracy daily and building up the strength in his ankles has been the key task for him. Contributing to his health will be the quality and depth he has at running back this season and the continued development of his receivers. He said he plans on leaving the pocket no more than 10 times this season. I dont necessarily think that would be a positive thing for the Hokies, but I wouldnt mind it in games when he doesnt need to. The offensive live should be solid with Render returning as the best guard in the nation. They have enough redneck big fellas to control the field.
On the opposite side of the field I think this defense will be better than last years. I think the additions outweigh the subtractions with the only real loss being Macho. He will be missed but we have added ridiculous speed to our linebacker corps and just wait and see how good Jason Worilds will be at DE this year. He will be a first round pick by the end of the season. Kam Chancellor may be the best athlete on the team playing the rover position which is an extremely important position in the Foster defensive scheme.
I really like the Hokies to make a statement in the opener. I would not trust a QB making his first career start against this defense no matter how ...
