I only try to contribute to help out the covers brethren because it is obvious that 98% don't know WHAT THE HELL they are doing, in terms of handicapping at all & then get fooled with Propaganda and asking stupid questions. I am documented 70% and have posted evidence to that effect here on Covers. So take what I say as fact, or keep losing. I had to post this!! It was on my heart. It will offend some, but it's for the good of most. Here goes:
There is no such thing as a FUCKING SHARP. Period!! Before the game starts, any pick is a good as any other (provided that the game is not fixed). Now, the DIFFERENCE or SEPERATION between some bettors is that some, like me, 1) trust themselves, 2) look at info objectively 3) have a proven method of studying and factors that they follow 4) devote time to being a good capper etc. For example, people like to talk about Billy Walter etc. HE IS NOT A HANDICAPPER (In the true sense of the word). Now, he does have plenty of $$ for sure. But he's not picking game's like us. He's damn near like the casino, because of his bankroll, he/they bet both sides of selected events, at various prices, and always come out on top because the tax and sheer VOLUME of bets placed!! So, in essence it rarely matters who wins. He has purposefully bet 200k on one side to adjust the line by 2 points only to bet 500k on the other. It's big business he's doing NOT HANDICAPPING!! OF course the COMPUTERS helped him find these inconsistencies a long time ago. I AM NOT BASH Mr. Walters, I'm a big fan of anyone making major $$. I used him as an example, because most people have heard of him & only to indicate that he is doing SOMETHING else and not "PICKING GAMES". I am posting this thread to be useful to everyone, but especially the newbies. So when you hear a "SHARP" just placed XX amount on this etc. DON'T pay that shit any attention!! What you do is Learn the sports, learn your craft, take it seriously, trust yourself (nothing worse than having a winner getting pulled off of it because of "late breaking" info or you heard a SHARP did this or that"). IT'S YOUR MONEY. Just stop bullshitting and get serious. Stop "tailing people" cuz then you aren't LEARNING anything to be able to stand on your own at some point. I LOVE ALL MY FELLOW GAMBLERS & HOPE EVERYONE GETS ALL THE $$ THEY CAN. This was meant as an eyeopener and to help . Not at dis.
