I just wanted to throw this out to the community. Most of us know what the term "whip" means in mlb jargon. What I feel might be more reflective is total bases divided by innings pitched. Other opinions, please.

Led by the Uptons and Ugglla are driving me bat-shit crazy. This would have been a 100plus win season had the braves just paid for Michael Bourne. Blame Wrenn for this.

Stats place him 2nd at best, but won/loss record would indicate that he deserves the award, won't get it though because of east coast bias

in my opinion Jeter makes that play 8-10 yrs ago easy, he has played a lot of baseball over the years, and is a 1st ballot hofamer. what i saw was a 40 yr old man playing late into the night, who maybe just worn out. Chipper left with most of his dignity intact, probably jeter should consider the same decision before he loses his.

With his broken finger, and being out for a month, this is really going to hurt the braves, T. Pastonicky will not be an adequate replacement.

He may be the fattest coach in ncaa b.ball, these coaches demand so much of their players and and don't have the self disapline to push themselves away from the dinner table.

Anyone have any suggestions on o/u, beside looking at whip, era, current streaks, what other data might I be looking at, or aware of.
