Lay it and lay it big. There will be no mercy in this one. The Buckeyes DEF is outstanding and will hold Iowa to 10-13 points. Buckeyes on the other hand will score 4+ TD's. Ohio State's DEF will force several turnovers against a young, inexperienced QB.Remember folks, this is the DEF that held a powerful Penn State offense to 7 points. Iowa's loss last week allows Ohio State to control its own Big Ten destiny, so expect a very hostile crowd. It all adds up to Vandenberg making some mistakes that allow Ohio State to win in relatively comfortable fashion.

I am making it my largest play of the year. Iowa will have no chance here. This is a sucker bet, the books want you to take Iowa. Buckeyes win this one by 25. Final score OSU 38 - Iowa 13.

That's because the line just moved from -16.5 to -17 in your book and they want money on the OSU side. They are getting tons of play on the other side.

My only concern with that is the fact it's quite possible Iowa doesn't even score in this contest and Tressel putting the brakes on when the Buckeyes lead is 28-0.

I agree that ohio st at home should win easily, but I wouldnt lay big on it. Good luck.

penn st has a very average offense with a cupcake schedule.

Iowa has the defense to keep this close and cause prior to make mistakes but they dont have an offense to do anything.

Dude, I respect your opinion but Iowa has not faced an or a player like Pryor. I don't hear you mentioning anything about this young QB from Iowa playing in a hostile environment and making mistakes. Good luck with whatever your play might be, I wonder if you are even betting this game.

A Defense that gave up 24 to Indiana and could have easily lost that game if not for a bad call in the endzone and a intercepted pass that bounced off five guys before being caught. Or maybe its the 28 they gave up to a crappy Michigan team. Get real.

Pryor has only gotten better game after game...let's also remember that the Buckeyes are 6-1 ATS when laying 14 or more points. The one loss was the first game of the year when they played, what turns out to be a pretty decent Navy team.

GOY on a 17 point spread. Unbelievable. You could tell last week that if you watched the game that the Iowa QB is going to be a good one. The only thing was that he had no experience and probably had no reps with the first team during practices. So, you know the coaches worked with him a lot this week to get him ready. Are you forgetting that Ferenz is a dynamite coach, and that he lost his starting tailback this year as well.

And like you said, a Rose bowl bid is at stake here. So why wouldn't this be a very tight game to the end? This game will be very close to the end, and Iowa could even pull it out.

Did you watch him play last week? James Vandenberg...he was 9 of 27 for 82 yards and an INT. He's a freshman QB coming into the Shoe for a game with the winner likely playing in the Rose Bowl.
