There are two dogs that seem to look interesting: Iowa st.+14/Baylor+26 ????This year Baylor rolls out new hc Art Briles and true frosh Robert Griffin (keep in mind Art also started another true frosh in Kevin Kolb in their first year in Houston, going to a bowl in their first year. Baylor played very tough on the road in UConn. I think they keep this close with the oklahoma juggernaut. Iowa st. is 2-2, this is Gene Chizik 2nd year. I don't have good take on them yet. Other than 1-0 at home and 1-1 away vs spread. They are at home so maybe they can whip  up something along the lines of 30 kansas 20 iowa st.  who knows ?

I like Baylor a lot, but it's tough going against OU... they are studs.  Wouldn't really dare go against them until bowl week.

BOL to you.

like iowa state. OU can score at will against Baylor's D though. Baylor can get a few scores themselves but maybe not enough.

I agree, it's always exciting to watch a young team grow. You're also right about this matchup, might be a little to daunting a task at this stage of Oklahoma's surge. It's ironic but next week at home against Iowa St. might be the better play. They should be favored at home but by how much? A lot will depend on their showing with Oklahoma. I think i'll wait to play the bears. Good luck this week w/ your ticket

OU just grab the #1 spot, they just want to stay healthy and when they're up they will start resting their players. They don't need to impress and win by 20 or 30 every games if they don't have to. I see Baylor scoring enough to cover the spread.

There are two factors that we know: OU can score at will,Baylor also has shown some quick strike ability. In this case the over might be a play at 62.5 possible 54 to 30 or 45 to 20. Always keep in mind Stoops knows the line so he might keep them in until the third quarter. He's been known to let his dogs hunt. But overall i think RaianSan has it right. It all depends on when Stoops start resting players, back door is very possible.

Got caught up in the talk about Baylor, forgot about Iowa St. I'm now leaning Kansas. Don't think Iowa St. can keep up with high-flying Kansas. Possible 28-10 at half. Last time Iowa st. won outright was in 2004.2005 they won in overtime.2006 they lost 41-10.2007 they lost 45-7. Looks like the play is on Kansas.
