India v Australia 7th ODI Live Streaming,
Australia have won the series and the 7th ODI just becomes significant from a
statistician’s point of view; probably another last chance for India to play
their best.
The mighty Aussies (they deserved to be called
so) have come to the subcontinent with no big names and played with almost a
second rated team and have gotten unassailable lead of 4 games to 2 and the
7-match ODI series will conclude with the last one day match in Mumbai
on Wednesday.
If the 5th ODI had been a close finish and seen a
swinging of fortunes until the last over, the 6th ODI had been a boring one to
say the least. India won the toss and elected to bat at Nehru
Stadium, Guwahati only to disappoint the fans who thought that they would see
the top order fire. The first 5 wickets fell under 30 runs and it must have
taken resilience on part of youngsters like Jadeja and Praveen
Kumar to take to 170 runs. The small total was chased with little effort by
the Aussies.
So the Indian team would go to the Mumbai’s
Bradbourne Stadium with least memories of the disastrous 6th one dayer. Mike
Hussey had been the highest run getter in the series and he will not like
to contain his spirit. He had remained unbeaten on 3 occasions and played his
role as an ideal batsman. Even Shane Watson, Ponting
and Cameron White have decently contributed with their bat.
On the Indian side, Dhoni had
been good leading way for the team, and Tendulkar did play one great
innings, but other than that there’s been seldom support from Sehwag or
Gambhir. Even in taking wickets Shane Watson tops with 10 wickets
closely followed by Bollinger and Mitchell Johnson. Harbhajan
Singh for India has taken 8 wickets and he had been quite economical for
them, but other than him none actually spot on.
The battle lines have been drawn between the
teams and see them fight it out - nothing beats a day at the one day cricket!
The seventh ODI between India and Australia will
be played on 11th November 2009 at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.
