Michigan survived (barely) on Sunday in its showdown game vs. Michigan State.  But keep in mind that the Wolverines have flattened out in recent weeks

splitting their last 8 SU and dropping 7 of those 8 vs. the line. Purdue has played two of its best three games of the season in the past ten days, blowing out Northwestern and then firing a warning shot to the rest of Big Ten in its shocking Sunday win at Wisconsin when explosive 6-5 swingman D.J. Byrd canned six triples. And remember that the Boilermakers led at halftime on Jan. 24 at Ann Arbor in the days when Michigan was flying high.
