Power rankings are so repetitive and boring, everybody’s got one. So instead of power rankings and posting my ‘Sour Rankings’ for week 5. That’s right, the cream of the crap. Here are a list of the 10 worst NFL teams after week 4 (Note: I also included some fun facts about teams off bye weeks, try to spot the one fake fact)
10. Buffalo Bills (1-3) – much like last year, you looked good in the beginning and now after your date in Miami you’ve come back down to earth. You’re officially now on notice.
9. Tennessee Titans (0-4) – I always knew you were phonies. I cut you some slack the first 3 weeks cause of your close results and tough schedule. But your 20 point loss in Jacksonville was the final straw.
Bye week fun fact: Over the last 3 years teams coming off a bye week who play a team that are not off a bye week, win SU & ATS 63% of the time
8. Detroit Lions (1-3) – You won last week, but you still have issues. Your not lower on the list because the opponents you’ve lost to have been tough.
7. Carolina Panthers (0-3) – Hope you used your Bye week to figure out how to play defense in the 2nd half.
Bye week fun fact: The Philadelphia Eagles are 10 SU and 8-2 ATS off a Bye week their last 10 seasons
6. Oakland Raiders (1-3) – Read Words 5-10 and 18-23 in the Buffalo Bills section
5. Washington Redskins (2-2) – You’re .500 but look who you beat, 2 of the worst teams in the NFL on home field by 3 points or less. You also lost to Detroit.
Bye Week Fun Fact: In and attempt to change their bad luck, teams who enter the Bye week on a losing streak spend their week off in the middle of the field at their empty home stadium cutting up live hobos with Husqvarna chainsaws.
4. Kansas City Chiefs (0-4) – You suck more than Washington, but not as much as Tampa Bay. So I’ll put you in the middle.
3. Tampa Bay Bucs (0-4) – don’t get your hopes up after what happened in Washington. The Rams almost won in Washington too ya know.
Bye Week Fun fact: Over the last 3 years, teams in the AFC East are 12-0 SU and 12-0 ATS following a bye week
2. Cleveland Browns (0-4) – You kept it close vs. the Bengals, but so has every other team this season. I still haven’t forgotten how much you sucked the first 3 weeks
1. St. Louis Rams (0-4) – 35-0 in San Fran? Really?
So did you spot the fake fact? It was the 4th one. AFC East teams are actually 11-0-1 ATS off a bye week, not 12-0.
