DIFFERENT VERSION OF BRACKET CHALLENGE

anyone who likes something different . i created a  tournament on a site called  POOLHOST.COM..  this tourney has alot of twists and turns..  the points change for each round.. 1st round 1 pt.. 2nd  3 pts      etc.. plus if you pick a lower you  to beat a higher seed you get rewarded  with   a point bonus  that equals the  difference between the  two teams seeded.. i.e.  if you pick a 12 to beat a 5  you get extra 7 points ..   ive used this format in local pools and people really liked it.. its a little complicated at first but it makes alot of sense to me.. if you pick a 1 seed to beat a 16 seed and  you are right you would  get 1 point but if you have the guts to pick a 14 to beat a 3  shouldnt you get more points than  the guy who  just picks the  higher seed each time..  plus as the  lower seed moves on in the tourney and you have them winning  a game in the second round  you can really  scoop up alot of points..there is no money involved  this is all free and for fun   but if you like a little challenge in filling out your brackets then this will be for you... it makes a big difference where and when you knock out your  high seeds..  i hope some one else will enjoy this as much as i do.. i think this is the real way to run ones of these contests..
the contest is listed under DANGERFIELDS1        and the password is rodney.. its a private  tourney... i hope  some of you guys are interested..  thanks..

I'm in one every year that gives you the point of the seeded team.

So if the 13 seed wins, and you have them.  You would get 13 points. Really fun that way.
