Hey DU4L, I expect that UB/UTEP game to be the highest scoring game of the week, looking at the over 61 is a joke, I see more like 80 point, this will be a track meet.  Who's gonna play any D?

CMU is getting the worst odds I have ever seen for a MAC team that is a two touchdown dog to a BCS team.  Scratch them off your list immediately.

North Texas and MD are in fact getting nice odds.  Nevada is middle-of-the-road.  425 is pretty standard in that case, same value as A&M vs New Mexico.

Washington St. or Washington. Feeling one of the Washington schools pulls an upset here. Im putting a small amount on both just for kicks. Plus I always regret not playing ml dogs when I have a strong feeling they will win. Missed out on lot of loot because of fear of taking a risk. Never will forget not pulling the trigger on stanford beating USC a couple years back. But I did cash in on N.D. ml at +1100 over UCLA that same day. If only i parlayed the two. Now that would have been a great day!

i am starting to like the UW game, a little myself.  I definitely like the spread... and the ML is growing on me.  That is a long trip cross country trip and playing at 10 PM, too.

Its a long shot but not impossible. That is the nature of an upset afterall. Besides im leaning more towards Washington St. Stanford has come a long way with their program but lets be real, its still Stanford! All of sudden, Stanford is worthy of laying 18 on the road in a conference game. And the revenge factor is huge in this game. Stanford may come in this game overly confident because they blew these guys out of the water last year. Either way i figure its worth a shot maybe a .5 unit or so ml and 1 or 2 units on the spread.

The spread on the UW/LSU game is attractive.  LSU is traveling essentailly across the country and giving 17 points.  I looked back 10 years and that has happened a couple of times with - a team in BCS conferences where the road team is giving double digit points - Nebraska traveling to AZst giving 24.5 points and winning 19-0 in 1996 and then Nebraska pushing as 21 point favorite traveling to Cal in 1998 winning 24-3.

VT and Oregon are the two most likely to win straight up... although not necessarily the two best ML dog bets out there (because of odds)...

Oklahoma's offense was better last year than OSU's will be this year, and they were shut down by an SEC defense.  No, I don't think UGA's D will be as good as UF's D was last year, but the SEC has the speed defensively to slow this Big 12 offenses down, something that the Big 12 defenses can't do.  The Big 12 offenses look good because their defenses are pathetic.

I also liked SC Cocks because of the "opening day" record of Spurrier, even though he has lost control a bit....I still say he might squeak another one out...but will blow wad and fade after......

I had a dream last night that FG kicker for cocks misses one for me NOT to cover the +4 and lose the game by 5.......my dreams usually never come true...lol

bombcapper - I really dislike chuck weiss as coach...in fact, i think he is bad....ND havn't been "winners" with him at general.....they do have some good players but it seems none of them like to play with eachother.  and the coach cant control, or they dont listen to him......I don't bet ND games at all....unless they played one of the teams i am a Fan of....then i bet against them....until Weiss is GONE...i have NO RESPECT for the Fighting Irish...

First of all, anyone thinking of taking Georgia should really be reconsider.  Oklahoma State will present an offense that Mark Richt has never seen in the SEC and I think the Cowboys defense will be alot better under Bill Young the new D-Coordinator.  Oklahoma State at home will run all over Georgia, dont over think it.  Historically the first week of the season doesnt present alot of dogs winning straight up but I can see Nevada covering against Notre Dame.

ND coaching and offense plain horrible- i dont care if they are older and more seasoned finally-- nevada will get 30 for sure - dont think ND can
