These are my early leans so far:

Really think Wake Forest is the better team here, just worried they  can't win by 3.  They played so many games last year only winning by 1 point.  ACC anything can happen.  I have to ask one question here would Wake have lost to Maryland.  Wake will play more physical in this game.  Plus they have the better D. For now I hope the line drops to 1.5 then I will jump on Wake. 

UAB + 18 all day long.  They will play Houston tough here and hang with them, I can see them having the lead in the 1st half.  I just hope it goes higher.

I love College Football.

dog has been covering like the past 7 meetings in the Cle/Wak series...the only problem I see is that this is the first time Clemson is dog

I think the trend will change this year.  Clemson has cost me a lot of cash the last few years though.

Clemson generally play well after a bye week especially after a tough loss at home prior to the bye week

Good Point.  But they played Central Michigan team after there bye last year, lot weaker team.  Plus Clemsons O was a lot stronger last year.

Wake Forest punter/placekicker Sam Swank strained his right quadriceps

in practice Monday and is officially listed as questionable for

Thursday night's game against Clemson.

Read this on ESPN.  I did not know this. Does anybody know who the back-up kicker is this could make a difference in my play now.

The Kicker is probably out for Thursday game. Wake Forest kicker is a walk on freshmen. This could be a big blow to Wake because they probably have to go for it on 4th down or punt when they could take 3 points.

Both teams are coming off a bye week after losing games they should have won. Wake has the better coach and the better D and playing at home. Wake will win this game by 7 or more points.

I live about 30 minutes from Winston Salem and the rain set in about two hours ago.  Its a steady rain, no down pour.

Looking hard at the under also at 42.5

Has anybody heard anything about the kicker yet?

If people keep pounding Clemson the line will be reversed at Wake + 3
I am waiting till game time to make my wager.  I feel Wake should win this game.

Dixon,

Sam Swank playing will be a 50/50 that he will play. However if he can't go he will be replaced by a freshman, whose supposed to be pretty good. I'm still on WF!!
