NEED YOUR HELP BEFORE I PLACE THE LARGEST BET OF THE SEASON ON THIS GAME.
 
I FEEL FOR MANY REASONS THAT OHIO ST WILL EASILY COVER THE 14.
 
YOUR INPUT IS REQUESTED. I KNOW WE HAVE A LOT OF GOOD CAPPERS HERE.

I have not been posting here for very long, but I can say that the Ohio State play is my favorite play of the weekend.  I go through and cap the games prior to looking at lines and for this one I had Ohio State by 17.  On a neutral site I would have set it at Ohio State by 20, but I am giving Purdue 3 points for home field.

 

Also, if you look back at Ohio State against the Big 10, they cover more often than not.  They aren't as fortunate outside of the conference, but they are a nice play in conference in my opinion.

One more thing.  OSU has covered in their last 6 Big 10 games and is 7-3 against the number in their last 10 against Purdue.  Eventually that streak of Big 10 games will come to an end, but I am going to ride the streak as long as it lasts.

OSU just don't generate enough offense "consistantly" and they've been inconsistant on long drives. Their D is playing lights out but sooner or later, they are going to let their guards down. Purdue has the offensive firepower to hurt OSU,,not saying Purdue will win, but they have the firepower and they generate enough D at home to containt OSU and keeping it respectable IMHO.

Pass offense / defense , OSU 108 / 30,Purdue 23 / 57.

Rush offense / defense, OSU 41 / 12,Purdue 64 / 86

Points for and against

OSU on the road 35 to 7.Purdue at home 28 to 27

Last three games OSU 31 to 9 against ( Illinois,Indy and Wisky)

Purdue  20 to 28 against  (Notra D,Northwestern and Minny )

OSU has covered every game except the first one against Navy.

I'm taking OSU ,Good Luck

man i'm am Oh St fan and yes i think they will cover, but so does 80% of the public......Tressel not a coach to run a score up either. I see a 21- 10 final osu..Eddie, give a look at Wash +7....

That is true, OSU been covering every game, I rode OSU huge against Toledo,,,,acoording to the trend, OSU is the play. But I got to admit, they look horrible last week vs. Wisky and still escaped with a win because of the defensive TDs. If OSU don't get up against Purdue, we have an upset brewing. How long can OSU play at this high level? Who does OSU have next week? Are they going to look ahead? Etc...BOL>

Purdue QB has thrown 9 INT so far against weak teams. 

Purdue LOST to ND.

Purdue gave up 31 points to Toledo at Purdue.  Ohio St shut out Toledo at Toledo.

Purdue sucks.  This one is easy.

Ohio St has been money ATS, in the Big Ten, the past years, and it's all thanks to their defense.

The Buckeyes are my favorite team to bet on, in conference play.

I'm Ohio State with ya man...  Things are starting to look like defense is a more important factor.  The defense and special teams advantages OSU has over Purdue is worth sacrificing their inconsistent offense against a low rated D.  Best of luck man
