Can yanks win despite Joe Girardi?

The guy is managing an awful series........
 
1..Yankees were lucky to win game 2, after he went through his bullpen and bench faster than it took Broxton to blow the game last night..........only reason he wins game 2 is cause feuntes is a complete baffoon, and on 0-2 actually gives Arod a  pitch to hit..............

2. last night he needed both lefies to pitch to consecutive batters (i didnt think it was the huest deal to be honest, just dont kmow why he would burn both lefties)..........................

3.he goes out to have a conversation with pettite, and the very next pitch vlad hits out???

4. he lets gardener run on the perfect pitch out count 0-1??? (socia totally outclassed him with that pitchout)  and if u want to say that garder has his own green light....i want to ask u why, in that spot would he have his own green light???? a player needs to wait until the count is EVEN to run there......thats NOT even a question...a pitcher doesnt want to risk falling BEHIND in the count in that spot with a 1 run lead and the lead guy on base.....

4. he doesnt want to let Rivera go the extra inning (ok i can deal with that, he may need him tonight)

5. u pull  a guy after 11 pitches with 2 out in the inning????????  
why u ask?????  thats simple......to give a gapper to LOSE
Just because u have a deep BP, doesnt mean u need to run out to the mound every 30 seconds
 
yes, im a  Yankee fan..............YES i have a Yankee future on the world series...Yes i lost yesterday....YES im pissed............Yes im betting CC tonight

I think he is doing a fine job as well.. The only move I disagreed with, was him pulling ROBERTSON with 2 outs and he looked solid up their.. I didnt get the move what so ever.. I get saving MO for tonight and not batting him yesterday. You never know he could have got hit by a pitch or got on base and pulled a hamstring or who knows.. But pulling ROBERTSON was bizzare

he loses one game and its time to get rid of him.. total bullshit. it would not hurt if swisher or some other overpriced bum might get a hit today. always the same with ny fans blame the umps, blame the mananger cry cry cry

Pulling Robertson was his biggest mistake. The dude is human. I mean who would of thought that Mathis would have been last nights hero?? The Yankees are still in good shape. The players need to stay focused most importantly.

Also a Yankee fan, but not quite as bitter. Girardi makes a lot of questionable moves. I saw it more so when he was with the Marlins, but they often pay off for him. Keep in mind he was a catcher when he played thus the control freak with the pitching staff.

Now forget the questioning past decisions and lets question starting CC tonight on 3 days rest....HUGE gamble.

i agree,,,,,CC going 8 strong sertainly keeps Girardis ass in the dugout.....and u bet him to lose tonight......i hope u dont bet real money woopD

you left out the somewhat questionable Hairston insertion (losing the DH) .....I personally didn't have a huge problem with it

said before they post season the only thing that stands between the Yanks and their 27th title is Girardi

woop is right about one thing (which is extremely rare), Girardi has been doing most of this all year....and that is micromanging his team.....in sports as in life, things are up for debate/criticism....its part of what makes it interesting (debating strategy, moves etc.)

as it stands its Yanks 3, Girardi 1...........should have been a sweep but for the ridiculous moves by Joe in Game 3

i didnt have a problem with hairston, cause Damon cant throw anyone out.....u needed someone that can possibly throw someone out

I agree hes made a lot of mistakes but he's learning.

He took lots of heat for deciding to pitch CC on 3 days rest but I give him credit for sticking with his decision. Looks like that turned out pretty well. Now hes got his rotation set for the remainder of the series however long that takes. He should also get some credit for creating a clubhouse where the guys are having fun.

Work in progress.
