Week 2 opens up
with Thursday game South Carolina visiting Vanderbilt, these two teams cruised
with victories last week. I don’t think SC offense is as productive as it’d
shown last week when 21 came in 4th quarter. Vanderbilt offense
tactic is likely keeping the ball and controlling the clock on the ground. I
know that we can’t adjust precisely depending on one game, but these two teams
showed improvement defensively. On the side, SC -10 is a fair number, I’m not
sitting anywhere; but it’s good to try the UNDER 41.5 here. Coming up with
numbers shows me little edge with SC; my gut’s telling me to take Vandie; well,
I’m not letting my gut fighting with these numbers. I expect the game will
start slow with rushing on both teams, and 2nd half will open up
some deep throw at the end 4th quarter when one of the team down by
more than a FG, but it stays UNDER… Hopefully not many interception-returned
TDs.
