The goal is to win 300 dollars a day every day this week for a nice $2100 salary.  The game is 2-5 NL.  I will primarily be playing at Red Rock because they have an 80,000 bad beat jackpot right now thats attracting alot of weak players.  Thought I'd post the hands I play and the results for anyone who's interested in moving out here to play.  The average level of play at 2-5 right now is so bad I am playing every night and crushing it.  Tonight was the easiest night of poker I've ever had and figured i'd cheat and call it day 1.

Six people call 25 and I call on the button with A 10 off.  The flop comes AAT.  My nuts shrink up but I dont flinch.  It checks to me and I check.  Turn is a 4.  The raiser bets 100 and everybody folds. I call.  The river is a ten.  FUCK ME.  The raiser bets 220 and I am so angered by the river I just call thinkn we got a chop and he mucks.  Of course everybody asked why I didnt raise but he couldn't call anything there.  But yeah, I played it like shit. Oh well 465 in my pocket.  About an hour and a half later I have 88 in the small blind and call 45.  4 of us see the flop of 854.  I check.  The guy to my left bets 50,  the original raiser makes it 150. It's on me and I cant see his chips so I say "how much do you have left".(I think every time I've said this I get called, it irritates people)  He has about 320 left.  I go all in, everybody folds and he calls.  It comes 9J and he mucks.  655winner for me.  play til my big blind and out the fucking door.

nice thread ghost. Scenraio one happend to me often, and there really is nothing to do but exactly what you indeed did do. Exercise good judgement and patience.

Had a similar situation this past Sunday in 2/5 live where this older gentlemen had gone on a bit of a rush with lousy cards, hittin everything in sight and calling horrid percentage post flop raises with some of the tighter players. It was gettin ridiculous...but I resisted the temptation(I had more chips) to play his game hoping to get lucky...

So here comes this hand...

89 suited.

I am button and raise to 20 after bunch of limpers. 5 people in. Flop comes A67 rainbow. Bet is 25, 2 people fold, I call. 3 remaining players.

TURN comes 5h making 2 hearts on board. I have nut str8, but figured on of two remaining may have 2hearts.

UTG bets 100...I'm thinking one of them(or both just made their str8 as well, but not the nut str8)

Loose guy calls the 100.

I push my remaining 500 in.

Tighter solid guy folds.

Loose guy calls...with K4 hearts. Pot now has close to a G(I had him covered by a couple bills)

I hold my breathe...

River J clubs.

Loose guy busts out....leaves VERY quietly.

I rarely show any emotion at the table...but I did smile once he left

Patience will eventually win out. Percentages will eventually fall our way.

Good thread, hope you continue it.

I think I've read enough.

"they have an 80,000 bad beat jackpot right now thats attracting alot of weak players."

I wonder if he ever realized that he was talking about himself?

This just keeps getting better.
