Farve's Vikings heading to Green Bay Nov 1st

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you all in on a trip I just booked with some of my buddies. Here's what it includes.

-Coach bus ride from Twin Cities to Green Bay
-1 night in a hotel
-Tailgating 3-4 hours before kickoff (noon CT start) all food and beer included.
-Tickets to the game (Vikes vs Packers in Lambeau)
-Bus ride back to Twin Cities Sunday after the game
-$410 for all of the above

Any advice or thoughts?!

I love betting football, and I'm a Vikings fan! I enjoy watching football from the comfort of my couch, with a cold refreshing brew and some wings. While I keep an eye on my fantasy team, and my football bets. There's no way I can pass this trip up...with a chance that Farve is wearing purple going to Lambeau!?!? This could be a story I tell my grandchildren!

Did anyone see how much those tickets were going for? I'm just curious? The game in Green Bay Nov 1st is the date.

grim a few things for you as a DIE HARD PACKER fan.

1. I live 30 minutes from Green Bay...I have been to several games, practices, scrimmages, etc... I would say (obviously with some bias) that it is the best stadium in the league. Not the fanciest, not the most hi-tech, however, when you see the stadium as you approach on Lombardi Ave. you cant help but get a special feeling with all of the history. Every Bear and viking fan i have spoken too has agreed in full.

2. The trip sounds like one hell of a deal. I fully encourage you to take adavantage of that...although i do not advocate perfectly good seats being taken from a packer fan for a VIQUEEN fan!

3. The prices are actually reasonible for a pro event. 6 bucks was last i heard for a beer...expensive...but thats a little less than average from what i hear...about other stadiums.

4. A family friend has seats on the 50 yd line and is more or less auctioning them off to family and friends...right now highest bid is $1,250 for the pair...and this is between family!

Hope you enjoy the game...but i hope you end the score result!
