Week 7: Top pks from Badlands, Boom_Boom, Ice4Blood & Nostradamus_12....

I am posting the selections made so far by cappers - others will be added later - up to 5 pks by each capper.  Pks are spread over successive posts due to post-length limits by Covers'....BOL to everyone in week 7!....

BADLANDS

WVU MOUNTAINEERS  -10  LARGE

I’ve been waiting for this game. This is a very bad south Florida team. I watched their whole game last week against Syracuse.  Jim Levitt and matt grothie made this program pretty good but it’s taken a huge step back this year.  South Florida 3 wins have come against a 0-5 western Kentucky team, a 1-4 Florida Atlantic team...and..Stony brook.  I watched both their games against Florida and Syracuse and they can’t do anything on offense and lost I believe 4 starters on d that went to the NFL or graduated.  Daniels has been awful at qb.  Against Florida he was 5-20 for 84 yards, 1 td 4 int.  last week against Syracuse  he was 9-23 no tds and 2 picks.  even against western Kentucky he only had 57 passing yards and they only won by 12 at home.  he can run but it’s going to take a lot against wv.  south floridas only chance is if they can run and wv is giving up 86 rypg.  on the flip side Florida ran for 250 yards on s. Florida so gl stopping devine. Unless WV doesn’t show up or just kills themselves with turnovers and penalties, I don’t see how they don’t win by 20+.  west Virginia 31  s. Florida 10

ICE4BLOOD

CMich (-12.5):  Chips got physically man-handled by an upper-level team,

and now get to go back to beating up on MAC opponents... prediction:  CMU 

44-17

ND (-23):  ND is an over-rated team year in and year out, and the

strength of their schedule is always over-hyped... however, this is the spot

where they are under-valued... WMU is a far cry from the level of competition

ND is used to, and they should be able to run up a score... prediction:  ND 

52-13

Miami (-19):  fading a crappy Duke team, against a Miami team that should

bounce back from an ass-whooping... Miami may not be able to hang with FSU, but

they can beat the snot out of the Dukies... prediction:  Miami 38-10

Oklahoma (-23):  how bad is Iowa State's defense?  bad enough to bet

against them here... doesn't hurt that OU is coming off a bye, and likes to

play the role of Big 12 bully when they get a chance... prediction:  OU

56-24

Iowa (-3):  bit leery of this one, but I have to go with Iowa's defense

against Michigan's no-fense... again, getting Iowa off the bye helps the

cause!  prediction:  Iowa 41-31

Oklahoma 52 Iowa St 17....Sooners are underachieving 0-3 ATS as double digit favorite

this year, look for them to put together a complete game off bye facing team ranked 93/97 in offensive/defensive yds

Utah 38 Wyoming 10...part based on QB possibly not playing, even if Carta-Samuels

can go Cowboys averaging 5.7ppg over last three in series

Georgia 37 Vanderbilt 13...not

crazy betting into Dores 22-6 road dog streak lately, but believe

bulldogs will play hard after taking a beating in the papers,

although officially questionable believe it's unlikely LB Marve will be

ready

and will miss him more than against EMU.

Auburn 37 Arkansas 27...Tigers were dominated in last year's blowout in

Fayetteville (also won here 25-22 in 08 against bad Auburn team), Ark 2-8

straight up on SEC road over last couple years and Auburn pretty good at the

wire

Troy 48 ULL 23....Trojans averaging 48 ppg last 3 in series, ULL battling

various injuries
