These two games will be fun to watch. The chiefs being a part of the playoffs blows my mind. They have been horrible for so long and then BOOM,, they are in the playoffs. The Eagles and Packers game needs no introduction as it has been spoken of over and over the past few weeks.
Colts lost last night in what was a heartbreaker for Manning and company. The Jets did exactly what they had the entrie middle part of the season. Found a way to win at the end. Without all the experience of their overtime games and last second wins, they probably could not have pulled that off last night. Was fun to watch. Good Luck today,,

Well fellas, its almost my 2nd most favorite time of year. Last year was a very profitable playoff season here on Covers. I know alot of you enjoyed the ride. Today be careful as you can have all the numbers in the world but what you cannot predict is what teams actually care to win today and which ones already have a ticket to Hawaii or Amsterdam. I still cannot get over watching TV while I am posting,, lol.. What happened? Now its tellin me to shake it,, that is awesome.. Anyway,, BOOMER SOONER... what a way for Stoops to redeem himself.. That was fun,, now it crunch time.. Good Luck..

I think they have the kind of defense that can create some turnovers and get pressure on Brees and he has been horrible this season with turnovers. It will be a tough thing to do, knocking off the Defending champs at Home, so worth a unit to me.. Good Luck,

Well its a sign of getting old I guess when your sad to see ole man Favre be retired. The guy is a soldier in the NFL is there is such a thing. From back in the day at Atlanta to the long run with Hall of Fame performances in Green Bay. The guy was one of the few things you could count on seeing on Sunday , besides a roast, a preacher, and the wife with the mop out. lol,,, Has the guy made some bad choices, ya, we all do, has the guy been a drama queen, well it kinda looks that way from a quick glance. But its hard for us to judge since not in his shoes. I look at it as a sign of how much love for the game he has. Even coming back tonight to play. Are you serious? He could literally get broken into two tonight. And with no Peterson as a threat you have to imagine what kind of blitz bears will bring instead of the ole Tampa 2 the whole game. Anyway, here is my goodbye to seein the great quarterback, the guy i have been watching play for almost 20 years now. With record for Touchdowns and Interceptions..lol,, And the most mocked Quarterback in backyards across the country.. So long Favre... bring home the winning ticket one last Monday night for us..
Ya know I am a vikings fan,, and I know all the reasons why they are not the team with the best chance tonight. But tonight I will roll with Favre one last time on Monday night..

What up fellas,, Had a nice break for a while,, Got the first thanksgiving out of the way this weekend, and only 3 more to go :) .. Hope everyone had a good week last week.. What up fellas, Ready for a good weekend.. Hope everyone is doin good and making some profits. There has been some good games goin on,, So as some of ya know, we have been finishin up some family stuff for the wifes grandma.. Almsot done..There is alot to worry about for this stuff, I had no idea... She should be moved in (Finally) by next week... Anyway,, Appreciate all the PM's and mail Ive been gettin.. Have not had much time to reply to them or the tweety bird,, But appreciate them all the same.. Now to the games, Sooners going to need a big rebound this week,, and the OSU cowboys have a chance to beat Texas at home which if I remember right, has not been done since 1946?? Maybe I heard that stat wrong, it was earlier in the week.. I am looking at both of those games pretty hard. Well wanted to start this thread tonight, because one of the neighbors trees blew over so the power is sparatic, we are going to go stay at a hotel tonight, so we dont have to worry about anything... Good morning fellas,, As some of ya saw on Twitty bird, I have friends and family in town,, (( wifes side of family , so some of ya know how that goes, lol)) She wants to take them downtown today and to early lunch so I should be back for the later games,, Hope ya all had a good week.. Great time of year to find some good spots with Hoops and football, and NCAAB will be starting soon as well.. If you opended this thread and have somethin negative to say, Dont waste your time , what is the point, just open your own thread and say whatever ya want.. Last Sunday was the ugliest one of my threads have gotten in the past 1.5 years and that is out of all the sports,, so maybe it was a full moon or something,,:), Be smart and patient, use good money management, and no matter what ya say, talk is talk... Facts are facts. The fact is that to make a profit sports investing you have to be consistent and follow a plan to succeed. Everyday cannot be a winning day, that is not the goal. The goal is to win more than you lose, hence the marathon not a sprint phrase,, I did not make that phrase up, it is a fact that we all know to be true.. So thats the motto for today,,, Facts.. Fact is something that is true.. And the truth is, that you can win doing this , but you have to be open and honest with yourself and push the pride to the side.. What up fellas, Halloween was cool. It was kind of an Ahh- Haa moment. Had watched my son trick or treat since I was 17 years old, and this was the first year he did not want to do it. Makes ya feel like your gettin old,,lol. But watchin the 4 year old daughter get excited and run around reminds you of how much awesome stuff is still to come. Take time for your family. The idea may be hard to understand at first, may feel like your going to miss something, or you might miss out on a great play. But after its all said and done, you cannot get the kind of satisfaction from a football game, that you have after a night of doin somethin fun with the family. Alright, lets have a good day today. Some interesting games. When you take a step back and look at the teams that are in the race and the teams that are probably not going to make it, you can say that this year is one of those years that teams that have been horrible in the recent past are starting to show that they made good draft choices with those bad seasons they had. Lets see who will score more touchdowns today and make some profits,

What up fellas,, I figured I would start the thread tonight because got a lot of messages this week. For those that dont know my son got hurt this week playing basketball at school, he is the center for the 6th grade squad. He fell backwards and hit his head and got basically knocked out, ( so they say) anyway we picked him up and went to emergency room and then had to go for other tests during the week, We took him to a movie last night, and my lil brother came to town last night, so we went and played some golf today and having halloween party tonight, then of course I have to take the kids trick or treating tomorrow night, not so much for my son but for my 4 year old daughter.. We have a routine where we take them by the grandparents and go trick or treating with my sisters famil with her kids,, Thanks for allt he comments and get well wishes, I think everything is going to be good to go. I have been on here every single day for almost a year and half now, and have missed just a few times so I can understand the concerns,, I have had a great week besides all the family stuff and hope the rest of you have done well also, just remember to use good money management and do not force plays. Its a very very long season and there is always going to be spots to attack and spots to sit back. Tonight I will not have a play since I wont be around for halftime either, but wanted to answer some of the questions I have been getting. I hope you all can understand that family ...

Good Morning fellas,, lets keep it rollin,, remember to use good money management. Stay focused and remind yourself that with winning days, will come losing days. You should expect it, you should plan for it. Why should you do that? So that you can handle it when it does happen. We all have a competitive nature in us, we want to win at everything we do. We want to out do what we did the last time and when something does not turn out the way we want it to it can be devastating to us. Now when this happens the difference between being successful long term, or just having constant ups and downs is all about how you can handle the bad times. Its easy to handle winning days, or doing good, But when that bad roll comes, when your pressed against the wall. How will you react? I believe that with a positive attitude, along with having a plan and strategy set ahead of time, and being REALISTIC with yourself, that you can overcome the bad, you can keep on keeping on,,lol,, So make a plan, really make sure you are wagering an amount that gives you a chance to win long term. If you play more than you should you can get caught slippin, and not be able to play at all for a lot of you youngsters. Do not beat yourself up, and if you are playing within your means, and you have set a plan ahead of time, then you will be able to handle a bad day more because you will still have plenty of bankroll left, and you will already know since...

Time for some more football. Hope everyone has enjoyed the football season so far. I love it,, and in only two weeks now the regular season will start for NBA.. After lots of PM's and emails I guess I have to give in and I will go ahead and post all of the plays like last season. Like I explained to alot of you. I joined the forum to try and help youngsters like I use to be ( 29 now). But you know, the youngsters like 18-24 who think they can get rich quick by gambling, to realize that this is not a get rich quick gimmick and it requires a good plan like any other type of investing. By using good money management and being patient. So all I can ask of you all is that if you do tail all the plays, try and follow the units posted and play within your means. Yes, you could of all made More profits by now if I posted all the plays, just like last season. But at the same time, if you are not quite disciplined enough yet, then you could be at less profits by now.. But I guess I can only help so much and eventually people will have to learn the hard way.. So hopefully that will stop the messages asking for all the plays to be posted.just be sure and be patient and follow your plan. Do it right, do it light, Do it wrong, Do it long, Now that's out of the way,, lets make some money fellas,. Good Luck tonight,, Lets get started..

Well by now most of ya know Im a rangers fan so probably no surprise I am going to take them tonight to advance. I am very concerned about Cliff Lee being able to knock the Rays down twice in a row.. But hoping I can bring them some luck to at least score more runs than the Rays off of Price..

Hey fellas, Heading out to help my pops with some stuff. Tonights game will either be great and stay close, or could be a blowout. Kansas St has proven itself against decent talent. UCLA quality win, Iowa St quality win, UCF a game they should have won by more, but they could not get the offense going, but they found a way to win in the 4th quarter. Nebraska went and whooped up on Washington and has played good ball so far. What I am counting on happening tonight will come from the turnover game. Nebraska has turned it over 10 times in 4 games, and K State has 5 turnovers in same number of games. This is in Manahattan with a good coach.. Should stay within a touchdown. Both teams feature a good defense, and both teams have given up on average 1 sack per game.. The running game will be big.

What up fellas,, Dinner was good,it was nice havin the weekend to just chill, but I have to admit, I miss the kiddos when their gone that long,,, Thanks for the PM's,, Remember tho I cannot reply unless you turn on the option that accepts from non friends, so either add as friend or fix the option... Halftime play may be tough to call,, Lookin at boxscore I only see 1 turnover,, Has Troy just been dominating or what???
